    Very nice riding. It was nice to see the rough sections of the NEBDR. I might have to do just sections 1-4 based on time off I have, but looks worth it!

      Yes some parts maybe a bit tricky for less experience guys, but if you look at the map, there's some bypass in some area.

    Really great video. It’s nice to see the scrambler out there. I did a few sections on my Tiger 900 and I have to say there are a few pieces on even section 2&3 that I’d not attempt on a big bike (I had to bail on old country rd3 in section 2) Well done!

    This is the best video out there of the BDRs. My wife and I started out 2 up on a 650 V Strom the 1st day and it was tough. Switched to a DR 650 after that and had a blast.. Rode sections 1 through 4. Highly recommend this route. We want to go back this Aug and ride 5 through 8. Are they as good?

    • @stou999
      @stou999  Год назад

      Thanks John! I can't tell about the sections 5 and 6 because when we finished the section 4, we had problem to find a place for the night, everything was full. So we rode until we found a motel and we where finaly near the start of the section 7. Since we already rode those region of the section 5 and 6 in the past, we decided to continue to the section 7 instead of going back to the section 5. Sections 7 and 8 are easy. But we didn't do the ATV part on the 7 because we didn't want to pay for the pass only for this small section.

  • @dbmiller5881
    @dbmiller5881 Год назад

    In section 4 - part from about 11 minute mark to 14 minute - was that "expert / class 4" area, or the regular part of the route?

    • @stou999
      @stou999  Год назад

      Yes there's some nice technical class 4 roads in section 4. But if you are not comfortable with it, there's some bypasses. It is well indicated on the map.

    Thanks for I'm planning on riding the NEBDR next season. How long did it take you? Did you do a section a day?

    • @stou999
      @stou999  Год назад +1

      From Montreal, it took 7 days including the trip from Montreal to Hancock, NY. But because of the difficulty to find a motel at the time we did it, after the section 4 we rode North to find accommodation. We found something near the section 7. From what we read on the map, it doesn't looked to have lot of challenge in section 5 and 6 and we both already went to mount Washington. So instead of going back South to do the sections 5 and 6, we went directly to the section 7. Depending on your experience, you can figure 1 day per section plus your travel time.

    Salut Stou! (J'en ai connu un sur M4E il y a quelques années...)
    Ça me rappel mon ami en KTM 790R et moi en Scrambler 1200XE qui sommes passés par les mêmes chemins l'année dernière.
    Beau petit montage, c'est quel marque/modèle le drône?

    • @stou999
      @stou999  Год назад

      Salut Franck, je roulais en sport il y a plusieurs années et j’ai déjà été sur M4E. Mon drone c’est un DJI Mini SE. Aujourd’hui j’achèterai un DJI Mini 3 qui a une meilleure caméra et des sensors qui permettent de faire le suivi de façon plus efficace. Mais le SE est vraiment pas cher et peut faire une bonne job.

    • @stou999

      Yes we didn't took any bypass. There's some technical parts in almost every section, sometime very small. The most technical section is the 4, a lot of rocks uphill and downhill. But with good riding technics, that's good.
