@xdalittlemanx Thank you! Glad you're enjoying the videos. We'll try to keep them coming as long as we can come up with good ideas! Thanks so much for watching :) - Kat
@turnedmonya No; we do have capsule espresso machines (Nespresso) but they do only espresso, no other types and they don't automatically do the milk, etc. - Kat
@Diffrentjamsith We filmed a bunch before she left so I will be posting them while she's away. Plus I will try to strong arm some of the other folks here into getting in front of the cam! :) - Kat
@dgershfeld1 I think you're referring to SBS -- Saeco Brewing System, which applies more or less pressure to the extraction and, therefore, changes the amount of crema on the shot. - Kat
My first thing i noticed about this machine was the build quality, it is simply amazing, it looks amazing and is put together extremely well. Also it is relatively compact, its about 4/5 of the size of a Odea or Talea. The interface is intuitive, easy to read and changes colour depending upon the machines operating status (green for ready, yellow when operating and red when there is an error = traffic light :) :) :) ).
Hi There, First of all, love your reviews. Although this model is not the most recent, I was considering buying it. Everyone seems to be giving it good reviews. I am still hesitating because of 2 things. Is it made in Italy or China, and how does the taste and crema of the coffee compare to the machines with the SBS?
@jarricklau Nope - sadly :( You have to take apart the machine to clean it and only a tech should do that while it's still under warranty. Grindz is wheat-based and will expand significantly once it combines with water in the brew group, damaging the brew group and requiring that you replace that. - Kat
Love your store and vids and you two! What is your recommendation for a serious baristo at home non auto - I'm comfortable with manual work but want great creme and don't mind feeling my milks stretch or foam depending on what i want to make
Hi again! Depending on your budget, the Rancilio Silva and CC1 are popular choices with budding baristos/baristas. If you have a higher budget and a little more experience, anything from the Rocket Espresso line is always an excellent choice. Here are a few product links to get you started: www.seattlecoffeegear.com/rancilio-silvia-espresso-machine-version-3 www.seattlecoffeegear.com/crossland-coffee-cc1 www.seattlecoffeegear.com/brands/rocket-espresso I hope this helps! :-) - Sarah
Are you looking more for an automatic machine where all you need to do is push a button and coffee comes out, or a professional style espresso machine that requires you to fill a portafilter with coffee and extract your own shot? - Steven

I just bought one from you guy. I'm excited. Thanks for making it easier for me to decide because of your videos of different machines.
Glad we could help! - Steven
Thank you Gail! ♥ I bought this machine yesterday because of this review and I am really happy with it! Greetings from Buenos Aires!
We just checked the box - Italy on these guys. There is a minor difference in shot flavor with the SBS but I don't find it to be essential. - Kat

Oh my god! Kat, you going to keep filming even though Gail is on a holiday right? Hope so.
Love your videos! Is there any way to clean the grinder on this machine? Can Grindz be used with this machine? Thanks!
I love how Gail just busts out the tape measure out of nowhere. LMAO!

@powerimprint Right now, $1399. - Kat
SBS?
Hi! SBS = Saeco Brew System. When featured on a Saeco machine it allows you to adjust the strength and consistency of your coffee. - Sarah
How much coffee did you have on this day Kat! haha
@Admalmighty suck-up! ;) - Kat
