That gentle closeness between family members is just heart warming. And Matteo's pride for his dad is just the very best to see. The way he seamlessly, almost unnoticeably guides Dad with such obvious honor is so wonderful to me. If you didn't know Andrea was blind you really WOULDN'T notice. Maybe it's partly that they have had to share so much of Dad's time with the rest of us? If that's part of it then all dad's should have to be away a little bit. Lol. But, I don't think that's it. Just so much love... God bless them all.

Every working day when snaking my one and a half hr journey home in a big city , I would put in my ear buds on the home stretch ,and once off the bus walking in step to his awesome voice and song. Sheer magic.
Through rain or snow ...and approaching my back door he would sing me home.

My husband and I saw Andrea live in South Africa earlier this year. Costed and arm and a leg but it has gone down as one of the best experiences of my life.
The tickets sold like vatkoekies,I was so sad I couldn't get myself one.

@@SisanaK Those tickets were gone in the blink of an eye. Luckily I knew someone who knew someone who worked for a ticket company. He sold me two tickets the week before the concert because two people had cancelled. I was on those tickets like coconut on koeksisters.

I feel like people don’t realize how people of a bigger “than normal” age can have love just like one of two people closer in age. Age doesn’t matter when it’s true love. (There are too many bad stories about older men and younger women in relationships that people start to automatically assume that a relationship like that is unsafe and bad). Just wanted to mention this.

I once had those automatic thoughts but I quickly switched the way I was viewing relationships with people of a greater age gap and I realized that it is a lot like how people think that all police are bad because they hear about all of the bad stories on the news rather than the good ones! :)
