My high school math teacher used to play classical music for us, and it worked really well. I often listen to it to help stimulate my brain while working on the computer. I consider it to be a very healthy addition to mental health therapy.
Well, we don't know your math teacher but we love that they knew that classical music can indeed positively influence brain power! (And you're right, it also works wonders when it comes to soothing the mind and taking the stress off)
Sometimes we too stop to wonder how different our lives would be if classical music wasn't a staple in them, but we shake the thought immediately - it's simply essential to us, and we're happy that you feel the same way ❤
He's better than Mozart. So is Wagner and Pfitzner. I'm part German myself and I think it's a shame you don't hear classical music quite as much anymore in our modern society. I like RnB and some Country Music but it has a elegance and ornamental beauty which I think is lost in much of the modern world today. Thankfully I live in Massachusetts so not for me lol.
Psychedelia is also the true American classical I would say. Before I was really listening to classical at all I was listening to acts like Funkadelic,Jimi Hendrix,Nico,CAN,The Velvet Underground,Love,Amon Düül ii,The Moody Blues,Santana,Cream, etc and from there into Prog. It is maybe the closest thing to classical America truly had. Jazz was just the cias idea of what they thought classical was which was elevator music. I would say Soul Music and Soundtrack Work also embody some if the same ideas in an americanized context in true somewhat but Psychedelia was truly music for the sake of both art and study and is to many still a gateway or even a legitimate ends to more serious music.

Love this compilation! 🎶 I know Haydn is not as popular as Mozart, Bach and so on, but I do wish this compilation was available for purchase from the Halidon Music store.
To me Haydn is the most underrated composer of all time. He always gets brushed aside in favor of Mozart these days, but I view his talent as equal, and he in fact was more innovative. It's not Mozart's fault though to be fair. He and Haydn were friends and admirers of each other. I have the complete Mozart boxed set and I love his music too. But when they talk about the greatest composers Haydn should share equal position with Mozart, alongside JS Bach and Beethoven.
Now i understand the reaction of Haydn when he listened to the beethoven String Trio musical performance. He was surprised and jealous at the same time . Beethoven's music is just awsome. Hadyn is a good composer and i respect his huge repertoire but lacks of beautiful and hypnotizing melodies like beethoven does

@@ulf6060 The current German national anthem since 1922 was originally written as the anthem for Haydn’s own country Austria; he had heard God Save the King repeatedly whilst in England (and felt its impact), so on his return, he composed ‘Gott erhalte Franz den Kaiser’. Les numéros d'opus n'ont pas de sens pour Haydn ! C'est le catalogue Hoboken auquel tout le monde se réfère !
The Best of Haydn would be just a bunch of pieces from his "The Seasons" oratorio.

Согласна, это так. Классическая музыка реально помогает мне жить.
I agree Haydn is right up there with Mozart. His string trios are delightful as are his piano concertos His oratorio The Creation is awesome.
Haydn is right up there with Mozart. So much wonderful music!! How bland my life would be without the classical composers. ❤❤❤

It's not a coincidence. The melody of the German national anthem is indeed the second movement of Haydn's Kaiserquartett.
