You and "wheres mollie" and "psychotraveller" inspired me to go travel Australia alone on a working holiday visa at 19, was watching your channels for months before I actually took the plunge and applied for my visa, I've been in Australia for 4 months now and I love it, travelling alone isn't as scary and daunting as it seems, thanks for inspiring me :)

Im curious to know whether they included anything about Aboriginal people in Melbourne and Victoria? There are some great walks/tours you can do of the city which will give you an Aboriginal perspective of Melbourne and Australia. Best place to start is the Koorie Heritage Trust in Melbourne for walking tours.

Kings park to see the native wildlife of WA , Rottnest island to see the Quokkas, visit Fremantle great for restaurants and History especially the old fremantle prison , go to Elizabeth Quay in the city , Optus stadium is worth a tour or go to an event there or even eat and drink at the biggest pub in Australia which is next door called the Camfield Tavern . Visit the two most popular Beaches , Cottesloe and Scarborough . Scarborough beach has just been redeveloped and has a huge swimming pool on the beach . If you want a good cheap feed go to Annalakshmi Restaurant " pay what you want " its located at the Barrack st Jetty . Govindas is also good for a cheap feed .
Yagan square is worth a look very good for WA local produce in food .. also Northbridge is great if u want a local beer , lots of Pubs , restaurants and nightclubs.

I live in Melbourne so I’m probably a little biased but I would 100% go to Melbourne over Sydney. I would definitely recommend going to both if you can afford it. Sydney has Bondi beach, opera house and sight seeing. Melbourne you can explore every alleyway and find something new each time.

For him to say WA is even worse and only good for gold mining isnt very clear at all especially since Gold mining is only a small part of the mining industry here in WA and its not even done in Perth. We were talking about cities and hes mentioning is sucks because of gold mining out in the outback!! Go figure that one!!!😖 .. I dont think hes even be to Perth after that comment . If you want to know about gold go to the Perth Mint in the city. And if you want to see a Gold Mine go to the superpit in Kalgoorlie but thats 7 hours drive from Perth, but Gold has no real relevance to Perth its only Kalgoorlie. Seriously whats he on about !!!

Andrew Bristoe Perth, Townsville and Cairns are nowhere near comparable to Sydney and Melbourne. If you plan on travelling Australia and you want to go to “medium cities”, then really you just need to avoid Sydney, Melbourne, The Gold Coast, and possibly Canberra. Any other city here would be fine. If you think that the other cities you mentioned are too big though, then your best bet would be Alice Springs, Newcastle and the Hunter, Mackay, Rockhampton, Hobart, Eden, Goulburn, just to name a few.

You need to relate to the Australian people much more. Not taking visitors to the magnificent MCG the home of Australian rules football which is like our religion, it is shameful not to do that. This includes the entire sporting precinct around the MCG which includes Melbourne Park home of the Australian Open tennis. It was a great video except for that big mistake.
