Yeah, I wish I was allowed to have my cars with me out here because I miss driving them. And yeah, the summit is a beast, a broken axle shaft can't stop it haha
Just wanted to say, I learned allot on your modifications videos, so thank you. I recently installed Traxxas’s new 2255 servos with 400 ounces in torque each. Might. be excessive, but I installed two of them in my Summit. The stock servos was really a weak point on the Summit. Really made a huge difference. Hope to see more videos, but totally understand that your active duty.
Rustler, do u have a full list of everything uve bought 4 ur Summit, I just ordered 1 n have been running it 4 about 2 days, my nephew used it 4 like 2mins n blew my steering servos, so I just want 2 upgrade it 2 the max now
@@rustlervxl09 thank you for the reply! I saw on a forum that someone had put them on the stock rims but they didn't mention what they did to make that happen...
Nice crawl buddy - one of the few with NO hangig butt on a Summit. The most people give this truck no preload to the rear springs and forgive a lot of ground clearance of the SUMMIT!
I still have my cars, their just not with me because I travel a lot for my job. I plan on making more vids in the future but it will be a while. I've seen arrma cars and I'm definitely interested in getting one because they look awesome!
Hello friend I think very good your videos and interesting I always and loved a traxxas summit
It’s good to have posting again. It’s been a long time. Nice crawling video. Summit was doing just fine on 3 wheel drive.

I know haha, I was waiting for him to lock all 4, but it made it just fine with open diffs.
Even though you posted this three minutes ago I still love these trucks!!! I really like the tires you got on your so summit
The articulation on the rig is very cool
Nice that your posting again👍😃
Yep, I don't get many chances anymore
I'm glad you're back! I look forward to more awesome vids.
It's going to be a good while before I'm consistently putting back out videos. I'm still stationed overseas and don't have my RC's with me.

I do actually! If you scroll down in the video description I have a full parts list for all my cars and the summit is in there too 👍
Keep that Summit Bro..I've got one and have several Rc's and it's my favorite..never gets old. They dont make that Green body you have anymore
Great vid. how did you keep the rear suspension from not bottoming out? did you just add more preload?
thanks
Joe Cam
Yes. Just tightened the rear springs
nice video looks like a great place to run the Summit.
Thanks, it was fun 😁
Are those tires compatible with the stock wheels?
No, will need the 40 series wheels and beadlocks to run them
@@rustlervxl09 thank you for the reply! I saw on a forum that someone had put them on the stock rims but they didn't mention what they did to make that happen...
@@joshbolt9654 I mean, I'm sure with enough tire glue you could. But that doesn't mean you should lol
@@rustlervxl09 exactly! I would rather just get the right wheels. Did you need any kind of hub adapter and do you have any rubbing issues?
@@joshbolt9654 So I did have a little rubbing of the inner beadlocks on the front 2 a-arms. But it was nothing serious and should be fine
Who knows the best battery to run on a stock summit?

nice job shooting the vid
Awesome!!! I just got Mudslingers for mine a couple days ago. They're so big and grippy!!
Good! Hope you enjoy them, they're great tires
Thought I'd ask, are you still in the hobby? If so are you going to get an arrma?
