I am so blessed that God put Paul Washer in my path through his videos. He has helped me to see Christ more fully and gave me more desire to be in Gods word.
One thing I appreciate about Paul Washer is that despite his popularity, he spends a lot of time at what would be considered small and medium sized churches.
Psalms 103:10 is absolutely sobering: 10 He has not dealt with us as our sins deserve or repaid us according to our iniquities. What we deserve vs what we've been given is incomprehensible. All I can do is thank Him, praise Him, and obey Him. 🙏🙏🙏

He's so much greater than what I can comprehend. Every time I feel like I've learned alot about who Christ is, I catch another glimpse of Him and I realize that I haven't even reached the base of His mountain. He just imprisons your mind and you can't help but to fall into 1,000 pieces because of the greatness and majesty of who He is. Paul Washer is the Truth! So many false teachers make you feel comfortable in their church for income and relevance. Paul doesn’t care. There’s the word of God and there’s nothing. This wicked soul of mine will never be worthy of God’s Grace and I will continue to fail and fall short. Jesus is so precious. His love for us is immeasurable. Paul reminds us of that.

When we give our lives to Christ, we don’t lose our youth, we gain it. Some of us lost our youth, but we gained our adulthood. As we grew older, we just went with whatever the world told us, whatever the lies we ate told us to believe, act, or say. But now, we have Christ. So to some of us it feels as if we wasted our childhood, maybe even our whole lives… but that doesn’t matter, because we have gained a new life ( 2 Corinthians 5:17). One that is infinite and not finite. So we were dead before, even though we were considered as living, even though we had “life” we truly didn’t. But now, we know for a fact that we do have life, which is found in Christ Jesus only!! (John 14:6) So it doesn’t matter whether we wasted our whole youth/ childhood or even some some parts of our adulthood because in Christ, we have gained a new life. To some of us, this is where our youth starts, to others it is where our adulthood truly begins.

A great message once again it is a blessing to have access to his sermons. Although if I’m totally honest - I do struggle every time I hear the part of his sermon where he talks about the man who is so in love with his wife, where it’s not because he’s a great man but because he has a great wife.. I know that on its face it isn’t the point of what he’s teaching, but it’s distracting how much I wish to be the kind of wife who inspires such an attitude in her husband.

This may be off target but I increasingly have been thinking that Hagar in her long suffering should be considered to have 'the heart of Christian obedience'. Think of it, Sarah dealt harshly with her and she ran away: 'the angel of the LORD' finds her, gives her a promise, and tells her to submit to her mistress (submit to the harshness). She returns, births Ishmael, and then when Isaac and Ishmael play, Sarah commands that Abraham accept Hagar be cast into the wilderness. She is cast out by her husband with bare provision alone with her young son, runs out of water, casts Ishmael under the bush, and waits. God appears, the angel of God speaks, and God heard the voice of the lad. A promise is given to her in the wilderness, her eyes are opened, yet she remains in the wilderness (we hear no more of her in the book of Genesis). Her faith to the promise and love of her son had her accept her harsh treatment which took her to the very end: the water gone, and the son cast, a slave woman alone in the wilderness. The Bible is not always about us, actually it should not be, but that we should fall in love with others.

The heart of Christian obedience is the First Commandment; faith which worketh by love. Paul's point is well takn.But if the love of God is not shed abroad in our hearts, "obedience," if there's any at all, will be mechanical.

For the last 5 years it's been very difficult for me and my two kids to fellowship, the reason is, most the Christian church be guide by men no by God. Sometimes your body can do things that is country to God's will due to mental health conditions. As a pastor I would be very careful in the way you correct people if you do not know them inside out. For example I kept getting into trouble at school and I came from a Christian family and my mother heard me from behind the door praying to god begging him to "make me a good boy". In my heart of hearts I desperately wanted to be a good young man and represent Christ the way he should deserves but due to my mental health conditions I found the extremely difficult so be damn careful how you correct your flock

Yikes! Jesus was a man who sanctified himself so that others who do the same can have past sins forgiven. Jesus is now our Judge because God the Creator promoted him.
If only the audience and the speaker understood the scriptures spoken in this message they would not be sitting in a temple made with hands listening to a hireling who preaches for gain. The ones in the pews are in the house of slavery and the speaker is the object of their idolatry. The many believe they are the few and cannot think any differently unless Christ comes WITHIN them to teach understanding of the scriptures. Until a person realizes that he deserves hell, he will never consider that he is undeserving of Christ.
When we give our lives to Christ, we don’t lose our youth, we gain it.
Some of us lost our youth, but we gained our adulthood.
As we grew older, we just went with whatever the world told us, whatever the lies we ate told us to believe, act, or say. But now, we have Christ. So to some of us it feels as if we wasted our childhood, maybe even our whole lives… but that doesn’t matter, because we have gained a new life ( 2 Corinthians 5:17). One that is infinite and not finite. So we were dead before, even though we were considered as living, even though we had “life” we truly didn’t. But now, we know for a fact that we do have life, which is found in Christ Jesus only!! (John 14:6)
So it doesn’t matter whether we wasted our whole youth/ childhood or even some some parts of our adulthood because in Christ, we have gained a new life. To some of us, this is where our youth starts, to others it is where our adulthood truly begins.

A great message once again it is a blessing to have access to his sermons. Although if I’m totally honest - I do struggle every time I hear the part of his sermon where he talks about the man who is so in love with his wife, where it’s not because he’s a great man but because he has a great wife.. I know that on its face it isn’t the point of what he’s teaching, but it’s distracting how much I wish to be the kind of wife who inspires such an attitude in her husband.

My brothers and sisters, Jesus is coming soon. We can see the signs of Matthew 24 all around us. When Jesus comes, there will just two groups on earth. Those that receive the Mark of the Beast and those that receive the Seal of God. "The agencies of evil are combining their forces and consolidating. They are strengthening for the last great crisis. Great changes are soon to take place in our world, and the final movements will be rapid ones". Another quote from one of our pioneers says "The storm is coming, the storm that will try every man's faith, of what sort it is. Believers must now be firmly rooted in Christ, or else they will be led astry by some phase of error". Let the watchman now lift up their voice and give the message which is present truth for this time.Let us show the people where we are in prophetic history. Jesus wants all of us in Heaven but unfortunately not everyone that says LORD, LORD will enter into the kingdom, but he that does the will of the Father. Jeremiah 29:13 "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart". God bless take care!!

This may be off target but I increasingly have been thinking that Hagar in her long suffering should be considered to have 'the heart of Christian obedience'. Think of it, Sarah dealt harshly with her and she ran away: 'the angel of the LORD' finds her, gives her a promise, and tells her to submit to her mistress (submit to the harshness). She returns, births Ishmael, and then when Isaac and Ishmael play, Sarah commands that Abraham accept Hagar be cast into the wilderness. She is cast out by her husband with bare provision alone with her young son, runs out of water, casts Ishmael under the bush, and waits. God appears, the angel of God speaks, and God heard the voice of the lad. A promise is given to her in the wilderness, her eyes are opened, yet she remains in the wilderness (we hear no more of her in the book of Genesis). Her faith to the promise and love of her son had her accept her harsh treatment which took her to the very end: the water gone, and the son cast, a slave woman alone in the wilderness. The Bible is not always about us, actually it should not be, but that we should fall in love with others.

The heart of Christian obedience is the First Commandment; faith which worketh by love. Paul's point is well takn.But if the love of God is not shed abroad in our hearts, "obedience," if there's any at all, will be mechanical.

Pastor Paul, I have a hard time to find a chuch to worship My God, I'm from Brazil but live in Canada. For the last 5 years it's been very difficult for me and my two kids to fellowship, the reason is, most the Christian church be guide by men no by God. Sometimes your body can do things that is country to God's will due to mental health conditions. As a pastor I would be very careful in the way you correct people if you do not know them inside out. For example I kept getting into trouble at school and I came from a Christian family and my mother heard me from behind the door praying to god begging him to "make me a good boy". In my heart of hearts I desperately wanted to be a good young man and represent Christ the way he should deserves but due to my mental health conditions I found the extremely difficult so be damn careful how you correct your flock

Obedience to God Alone and not to men (which is idolatry) This is why you can disagree with a message or the spirit in which it was delivered. You have your own will. Many have lost theirs.

The first part of your statement is correct. We are called to be obedient to God. However, God also commands all people to be obedient and submissive to authorities (Romans 13v1), Christians are to be submissive to church leaders (Hebrews 13v7) and to each other (Ephesians 5v21).
Wives are to submit to husbands (Ephesians 5v22), children are to be obedient to parents (Eph. 6v 1)
It is unhelpful to write ambiguous statements. To love God and love our neighbour, we must strive to speak the WHOLE truth in love; for this is the will of God (Matt 22v37-39)

Reminds me of when they wanted the children not to worry Jesus and what was Christs reply! Matthew 19:14…. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Yikes! Jesus was a man who sanctified himself so that others who do the same can have past sins forgiven. Jesus is now our Judge because God the Creator promoted him.
If only the audience and the speaker understood the scriptures spoken in this message they would not be sitting in a temple made with hands listening to a hireling who preaches for gain. The ones in the pews are in the house of slavery and the speaker is the object of their idolatry. The many believe they are the few and cannot think any differently unless Christ comes WITHIN them to teach understanding of the scriptures. I still marvel at how helpless we are to see and understand scripture until the time appointed by the Father. Thousands upon thousands of false teachers pointing fingers at one another, regarding others as heretics while ALL of them practice deceit, most unknowingly.
