Just done this and purchased heist after canceling and got ruby straight away no needed to turn off network great guide keep up the work
This method works for me on PS4, however I kept getting anything other than Pink Diamond until hard mode got deactivated. Once it’s back in normal mode, you would have to change your outfit, pay the heist, then exit and re-enter the sub if you want the target to change.

@@klarify_kingcruz9846 you do the heist once solo and then it goes away and you have to do the setups again. Unless you use a method to skip the setups.

The only way that works for me:
1. Go on cams to see what primary target you get by looking at the corner of the screen but do not mark it by look directly at it.
2. Immediately *Close your game*
3. Cancel Heist and then retry

Does changing your clothing every time you go to reset the primary target effect what happens and if you get pink diamond or not
YES! It saves your game when you change clothes.
Only change your clothes after scoping the primary target for the second time.
That’s the ONLY time you want to change your clothes.
If you change clothes any other time, it will not work.

It isn’t really clickbait since at the time, it did work. Although it doesn’t work anymore he did put work into the video and it would just be a waste to delete it
For those who didn't get thing with changing outfits (like me): *on xbox* you have to change your outfit just ONCE and then keep going offline/online. I got few times the same target but after 2-3 times doing that it actually worked!!

@@alexidk2657 u call Pavel, cancel heist, immediately go to hangar (like in video) and go to Cayo. Then u go again to cameras and if there’s no target u want u go offline, then online.
When you on the Kosatka u have to change smth of your outfit to save and purchase heist again. If it’s still not target u want u go settings and do all that stuff. When u load to online again u DON’T have to change outfit, so just buy heist again, if not your target go to settings again and do the same back and forth until you get target u want OR until u run out of 48 minutes.
P.S some guys says that it was recently patched.
And exactly that method works only for console (Xbox in my case)
I had the pink diamond in my replay glitch and now I followed this to have a chance at getting better secondary targets to complete the elite challenge... I followed this and found out that it is now "*PATCHED*" and now I have bearer bonds with crappy secondary targets... yay...

everytime you get bad target just cancel heist by calling pavel and start new heist for 25000 and do gather intel again until you get diamond :)

When you change your close go out of the submarine downstairs change your outfit that is in the wall,once you are out, go in the sub again. You will notice that when the board refreshes you got another thing. No need to disconnect 😁

@@ha3xun229 for me all I did was just leave the sub from the door behind me change my clothes once and then entered back in, and it changed. I got lucky and got the diamond so idk if it keeps working.. but it does at least once.

For the people on pc that dont want to plugg out the whole Ethernet cable. Go to taskmanager and suspend internett for just gta, wait 10 seconds. After 10 seconds, activate it agian. This is better if your are using internett in any other way.
This also works if you want a lobby of your own, but you still want to do cargo, heist preps, and other ceo stuff

That works the same? 10s doesn't lead to a kick notice, it should just cause everyone in your sessions to "leave" (when it's you leaving) and not kick you offline. Longer than 10s will stall the whole game and it will crash to a report to microsoft notice, not just let you go to story mode. Weird if this is not your experience. I've emptied my lobby a couple hundred times this way and if it goes too long to actually disconnect you, it's not the same as pulling ethernet. I figure this kick still works when you come back though? Just wanted to clarify this method doesn't kick you off the exact same way as pulling ethernet or wifi
This worked for me on normal mode on PS4!
After I did the second scope out mission:
I went next to the heist table, changed my outfit, excited the sub, then re-entered and the board refreshed to the pink diamond!
-Note: you still have to have already completed the heist at least once in order to not get the files, but I believe it is ok if you miss the hard mode window.

can one of ya explain the steps after the second scope out, i could exit/enter the kosatka to refresh the target but it keeps changing back to the same one(tried 3 times)

@@jib_nas I just walked my friend through the glitch prosses to get the pink diamond and this is what i had him do:
1. change outfit
2. set up the heist
3. exit the sub and re-enter
4. check the heist table for pink diamond
5. if the item is not the pink diamond, go to settings and disconnect and reconnect to the internet
6. load back into gta online, then go back to your sub and repeat the steps
Note - My friend got tequila 4 times before the item changed, after that he had to do it 2 more times before he got the diamond. Unfortunly i dont know if there is a way to check if your doing the glitch properly, honestly after my friend got the same item for the 4th time I thought we were doing somthing wrong but the item thankfully chaned on the 5th try.
- Also I got the diamond first try, but thats what happens when your dealing with RNG
you don't have to keep going offline and keep reloading. after disappointment scoping. change sessions.. spawn at sub. cancel heist with Pavel. rescope Island until u get what u want. your welcome

A friend of mine did that glitch yesterday, so i confirm that still work.
THIS GLITCH STILL WORKS BUT IN A DIFFERENT WAY
You have to do everything he says in this video, you don't need to go to story mode and then open an invite only session, just switch sessions and that's it, once you do it again, you will probably see the same objective, that's normal, the only thing you have to do is go to the sub and start a preparation mission, and when you come back from the mission the objective will be different, I had the Tequila target I did everything he said in this video and when I came back the tequila one was still there so I decided to go with that one. I did a preparation mission and when I came back the objective had changed, now it was the one of the safe.
I just joined new session and it changed

@@Unknown_Meliodas for me I couldn’t call either bc he was busy so what I did was just find a new session, cancel the heist normally by calling when you aren’t busy, and then just restart the heist. The only bad thing is you still have to pay 25k until you get the primary target you want. I also don’t know if it will remove the hard mode yet but so far it hasnt

Verified this works on ps4 to disconnect its ps button.... settings... network...deselect "connect to internet" its the first option.. wait a second or 2 then re-select it.. I had to scope and reset twice and disconnect internet once... hard mode on pink diamond is only 110 k more so for non dedicated players it isn't even worth hard mode.. just run it till you get pink diamond or cancel heist and follow his steps exactly and you will be fine.. thanks for the content man!

Doesn’t work anymore. You get stuck with the same primary no matter how many times you go offline and come back. Exiting sub used to work but does not work anymore
I can confirm it works for the expanded and enhanced version of gta 5 for Xbox series S / X so I assume it works for ps5 aswell
Edit: just make sure when you disconnect your wifi when it brings you to the main menu just click heist and cayo perico heist, if the lobby is full of ceos and mcs then just disconnect wifi again and click cayo again, then purchase the heist activation 25k thing and boom it should change, if it doesn’t then repeat the wifi step

If the 48 min window closes you dont have to start again. Just cancel the heist, start again, put play on any prep mission, once you start it get out of the sub, and enter again immediately. Your primary will change.

@@charliematamoros91 does the primary change? Theoretically the whole operation should change. There’s a rumor that if you get pink diamond, the secondaries are worse, but ive got gold and paintings with it so idk.

You can simply not fully point the camera at the primary target. You will easily be able to tell by one tiny bit of it. It won't be saved so you'll easily be able to just back out and do the intel again.
but if u dont spot the primary target u cannot leave the island and if u go to another session then it restarts, because it didnt save anything since no prim target was found

I tried the glitch but i tried my whole 48 min when the hardmode active but didn't got the pink diamond single time then after 48 min it just resets the hard mode also gave me the taquila that was already shown on the screen without refreshing the target my whole 1 hour just wasted 🙂

@@Primo-idgaf after completing the heist when just show your name just unplug the internet that's all after going to story mode connect internet and go to online u can see u have already the money and heist finale didn't finished

Go for cocain or weed as they pay more than paintings. 2 cocains to fill up loot bag and 3 weeds to fill up loot bag. Paintings only pay more than cash which is the lowest paying
I have also only done the heist just the once time and waited to long screwing up and I think hard mode is off now what is the easiest fix?
So for PS4 there is an extra step needed, I tried the way explained but the target kept staying at Taquila. So once you disconnect internet and re-connect, go back to session, go to screen, pay to start, select a prep(like plasma cutter or safe codes) leave sub, re-enter sub and it will change. If you don’t get the right target disconnect and repeat.
You don’t need to start a prep, after purchasing the set up back out, leave sub, enter sun and your objective changes. Don’t go into the planning board tho, wait for it to change on the screen first.

Would help to mention you need another outfit before I get 2 trips to the island deep. Would have also liked your path to the tower on the bike not in fast forward. Good path but hard to see on the first watch with out pausing and slowing it down.

When we left the first time and went back into it we got tequila as primary but all secondary targets were empty. No gold, no cash, no paintings. That’s on ps4
It’s only a visual bug when scoping out the island. There are secondary targets during the heist 👍🏻
Remember u canceled at lsia so after u get back ull pay 25k setup then go back to the island for secondary
When I leave online after scoping it out it completely removes the heist and I have to pay for the set up cost again and do that horrible flight from the top of the map to the bottom.
What I have been noticed is that every time I get tequila, and when I do it, a change is to Diamond, but if it's any other item, it doesn't change into the diamond and I'm on PlayStation

Update, chat, this ---- no longer works---- if you call Pavel from LSIA (after taking the mission to again recon island), he tells you "sorry I cannot" (cancel heist)
What would someone recommend me to do as I have messed up a good bit on this and currently have the bottle of tequila and can not get it to change
Doesnt work at all. When i start it again my character gets on the board with same prize instead of just refreshing the main prize. Stuck with the fucking tequilla again... despite me refreshing the shit 5 times again today.

Guys I keep seeing "I get the same thing in a row" if ur thing is not updating is because this only works on hard mode it'll swap if its on hard mode u have 45 minutes to complete it. If u take too long during the whole glitch method hard mode will expire n the purchase part will enable however it won't switch. U know u did it right if u purchase it n ur character is still standing. If u buy it and ur character goes immediately to the screen ur hard mode is no longer enable therefore complete it again so u can get hard more again.
Note: hard mode will enable as soon as u purchase the first setup when Pavel calls u to redo it.

By watching all these work I feel considering the time, my luck and the extra amount its better to complete the heist instead and do some other missions like vehicle cargo for other amount, no frustration simple life😂😂
No idea what is going wrong, but when I'm calling Pavel near the hangar, his phone is busy...
When I in only invite game, when I turn off internet nothing happen but when I enter public session then I lost connection
You can also exit and enter the sub after relogging after the cancellation step, if the first target is not what you want. Set up the heist, then exit/enter and the target should change once, doesn't seem to happen again with more attempts in the same session. Then I've worked out you can also block saving with bandwidth monitoring software if you can block the "out" on the GTA process. This does not disconnect you, but goes into that "saving failed" state for a while until you reconnect it. Not sure how long this lasts, but also potential with this I'm sure. The trick is keeping hard mode through all these steps. You lost it after the cancel. Of course if one can actually finally get a pink diamond on hard mode, you should pull ethernet on the "passed" screen at the end :D Else all of this work is really pointless vs just grinding out heists, even on tequila I'd think.

So let me understand this.
-Come back and do setup and enter hard mode (whenu can)
-Go do intel first time get electrical connection and check.
-If not what wanted, go to offline storymode, reconnect in invide only session. exit kosatka and enter, and do setup and check
Edit: Or is it second time when it says go to LSIA, Fly there, cancel, dont land, but go into offline then online, and exit and enter kosatka

First just get the necklace then proceeded to complete the heist in hard more or easy and do the elite challenge by your self or only with another person and then wait for the text after the heist and you should get the diamond

This video and method is not to date, right? How do you cancel the heist , When you call Pavel at LSIA it doesn't allow you to cancel. I tried just canceling it outside the mission, repeating setup, but I can't cancel the heist in the sub for the glitch

Doesn't work. 3:34 You can no longer cancel the heist when going to LSIA for the second 'Gather Intell' attempt. The cancel option is greyed out and Pavel will tell you he can't do it.

nobody when they arrive at the airstrip ever seems to checks the hangar and stores around the back, there’s regularly coke and clothes, for me anyway.
thats the only place I loot solo.. anything at the airport and main objective plus the safe in the office. 12 minutes elite challenge and im out..

I got lucky it took 4 tries to get the pink diamond and all gold rooms now my main target goes for 1.4 million and my second is 2.1 million.
At the point wouldn’t it be better to do the heist or it faster when you do this?

i watch, its the same as the other vidoes, but the other videos have failed since i cant get to change my primary target on the screen. it doesnt refresh and show a new target. Will try again using your video as an example.
