Introducing The Academy | Ben O'Connor

A talented sportsman, Ben O’Connor joined the Munster Academy this summer as an 18-year-old having won two All-Ireland medals with Cork in hurling - at minor level in 2021 and U20 level this summer.
He has flourished at PBC and played a leading role as they won the 2023 Pinergy Munster Schools Senior Cup title.
He was a Schools Senior Cup finalist with PBC in 2022 and has lined out for Munster and Ireland at U19 level this season.
We spoke to Ben earlier this month ahead of his 19th birthday at the weekend, for his first interview after joining the Academy.
