    A very beautiful gesture!
Following the Kazakh tradition called ‘Returning the Son’, Dimash’s grandparents brought him up - he calls them ‘Mama’ and ‘Papa’. His grandmother Miua gave up her job as a teacher in order to care for him and allow his young mother Sveta to finish her university studies, but they all lived together in the same house while he and his siblings were growing up - they are a very close family ..

She loves her family, but she adores Dimash.
In Kazakhstan, they have an ancient tradition called the returning or for giving of a son.
When a couple has a first born son, it is tradition to give that son to a set of grandparents.
In the case of Dimash, his parents gave him to his paternal grandparents. They took him though living in almost poverty and raised him completely for 10 years then his parents and grandparents all move in together. Dimash continued calling his grandparent "Mama and Papa" and at concerts he would tell people he had two sets of parents. His Papa passed away spring of 2023. He loves them more than you can imagine as they have loved him.
They are the ones who put him through his ling years of music school, taught him to play chess and use logic. They gave him a love of books and a love of the people of the world.
They gave him a strong academic and musical background and they gave him love.

I believe he and his extended family have always lived together: his grandmother has spoken of nights when Dimash was unsettled as a baby and his parents came running to offer to take him from her to allow her to sleep. She said she refused, saying she would cope with him herself ...

His Grandmother took the little boy to learn how to sing when he was just five years old. He learned quickly and as he grew older, he learned to play instruments as well, like the piano and the dombra. As the years passed, he sang very well and became well known and loved in his country. When he was invited to sing in another country, he became a singing sensation and needed bodyguards to ensure his safety. His popularity quickly grew and he was discovered by the entire world and soon became a legend at an early age. He now endears his fan's love, as well as they endear his, as his music reaches far and wide throughout the land to men and women of all ages. His voice and his music will endure the annals of time and all will embrace the journey of the boy they call Dimash.

💥 Agreeing to see him, the third generation of an already famous family of musicians and vocalists, she waited on painful legs in hallways all day while they determined he had first, the physical architecture necessary, then, the early voice, musicianship, attention span, cognitive ear, self discipline, focus and many other necessary traits and attributes to train to world class level. At 5 he was the youngest student in its history accepted.

For me, the version of S.O.S from the Chinese talent show will ALWAYS be the best. I think it's because of how my emotions on first hearing him sing were - I was absolutely stunned, speachless and totally in love with his pure and amazing voice.
How I love Dimash's values and heart ❤️. Just knowing that when he returns to Khazakhstan he goes straight home to his beloved family and happily lives at home. Of course, he could very easily buy himself many properties but he simply chooses his family - wonderful. ❤❤❤❤❤

❗SOS is considered one of the 5 hardest songs to sing, from the 90s French rock opera Starmania, it's become his "calling card" song. Thanks ! 🌿🍃

And I think TSOOS is number 1 for the hardest song to sing , and of course Olimpico, I think all Dimash’s songs like this

@@Somaso163 Considered so hard because it demands the voice to do the IMPOSSIBLE. Until Dimash, and no one else trying ! I think the original singer sang it lower.
