imagine having a brand new computer with top-of-the-line specs, 256GB DDR5 memory at over 5000MHz, a Ryzen 9 7950X paired with an RTX 4090 and to go with all of that, an 8TB NVMe SSD at 8,000mbps, only to have it destroyed by a random touhou song that for some reason has 93 million notes
Could you play 9KX2 sacrificing everything for performance? Like PFA with the smallest possible window size, with notespeed at 0.0001, OmniMIDI with a very light weight soundfont like German8, and using settings like polyphony at 200, disabling effects and stuff? I'm curious to see if that changes at least a little bit.
the max I could probably open is the 20.3m version, 44.7m requires at least 16gb, I could still likely try for rdr 40m though (when I get my laptop that is)
