- This is my first day in George Town, Malaysia on the island of Penang. I couldn’t have ever expected it to be this good, from the street art, the architecture, the mosques and temples everywhere. And incredible food, my expectations were blown out the water!
In Malaysia when you order drinks...
1. Saying just coffee or coffee ice....its sweet milky coffee
2. You want coffee without milk but with sugar...say Coffee "O" (Oh) or Coffee O ice
3. You want just coffee black....say Coffee kosong or Coffee kosong ice (kosong meaning zero...like coke zero)
That will work for tea, milo, nescafe, horlicks, etc

Welcome brother, i hope you enjoyed here in Malaysia.. There are lot of interesthing places you may look at penang, such as padang kota lama, padang kota baru, batu feringgi, longest waterslide waterpark in world(1km+), and lot more... And i guess you are Muslim, sorry if i am wrong, you need to check out halal food because usually chinese not have halal certificate but they're not everything nonhalal in chinese like i guess you breakfast... Thank you and it’s called rope walk hostel. It was not bad had good facilities and area to chill but the room was way too cold I ended up getting sick
