  • 👋 Time to make my new manual Toyota Supra sound awesome! In this video I show how to install a downpipe for the MK5 Toyota Supra 3.0 B58. To be honest it was super easy installing the downpipe on my Supra right in the garage! This is the new MST high flow catted downpipe. It has a 6in diameter catalytic converter for a high flow design and should be very similar to a catless downpipe. Also this high flow catted downpipe wont cause a check engine light! The V-Band hold the downpipe to the turbo and then its two bold on a bracket and the clamp on the midpipe. Unplug the two 02 sensors and with some wiggling the stock downpipe pipe comes right out. Installing the new MST downpipe was just as easy. It comes with a new gasket and reinstalls on the bracket like stock. Took a bit of wiggling to get it into the factory midpipe, but with two people installing a downpipe on the Supra B58 at home is easy! he Supra sounds much better too! Definitely a noticeable increase in sound and a few more audible pops in Sport mode! I love the new MST catted downpipe for my manual Supra! MST also makes a catless downpipe for even more sound! In this video, I'll be demonstrating how to install a high flow catted downpipe on my manual Toyota Supra. This downpipe will greatly improve the performance of your Supra, and is a must-have modification for any turbocharged engine! If you're looking to increase the power and performance of your Toyota Supra, then this downpipe is a must-have modification. We'll walk you through the installation process step-by-step, and show you just how easy it is to install! Thanks for watching!

    i have this downpipe on my 2022 supra. Stock exhaust, no tune, no intake. It made an already good sounding car, even better. There's a lot more pops and crackles and you hear them all, both inside and outside. It deepened the tone of the stock exhaust, and also made it louder esp from the outside...imo the exhaust note in perfect now. Also, you do notice the difference in increased power. Accelerating from 35 mph to 70 mph is noticeably faster and smoother. Its obv not gonna be anywhere close to a tune, but even without a tune you do notice an increase in power. The downpipe wasn't cheap but def worth it

      Catless with throw a check engine light since it has no catalytic converter. You will need to tune the car. Catless is also going to be louder and you'll smell more exhaust.

      MST has a no check engine light guarantee. So they will replace the downpipe if it does throw a light. The car itself will still be under warranty from Toyota. However if the 02 sensor had a failure, Toyota probably wouldn't cover a new one since they could blame it on the aftermarket downpipe. Yeah I had catless on my last Supra. So I'm excited to see how this performs and sounds with the full exhaust. Then we'll see about going catless again

      not really, high flow cats flow really well these days. probably a ~3 hp gain with a tune going from catted to catless

    Why is it so expensive, a vsrf catted dp is only 480 and theres some even less, other than the cel thing but if your going to tune it doesnt matter

      @BrosFOURRSpeed  Год назад +2

      You answered your own question lol. This doesn't cause a CEL. Big deal for a lot of people. If I have a CEL my car cant pass inspection. Lots of people aren't ready to tune the car but want the downpipe. It's going to cost $3,500 to tune my car. Lots of people just aren't ready for that but can do a high quality catted DP and get the sound with no issues. And once tuned of course gain all the power. If you're going to get a catted downpipe that does throw a CEL, might as well just go catless.

      Without tuning no. But with a tune an upgraded downpipe ads about 50 more WHP then stock

      This makes a ton of sound! The camera audio doesn't do it justice. But the car sounds amazing with this over the stock one!

    Does this require a tune?

      Nope! Great product and won't throw any check engine light. Have over 2,000 miles on mine!
