This Model is now doing well in the AM Yard (Boxed for storage) here in the UK, purchased back in June of this year. Reliable Crane (model hasn't broken). ;) Just one of a number of Cranes (models) purchased from CE Construction (Cranes Etc)... :-D
Another nice review ian! It looks really good, but i think nzg could have done a better job and maybe took a half step backwards compared to the 11200. Like the outrigger mats, they already make those mats and could easily include them, they look like a perfect size mat for the crane. Another issue, the sheave bars on the tip, they could have put some small C-clip washers on the inside, to keep them from sliding out. And what are they thinking with the plastic boom cylinder and notched ram? Its almost 2018, not 2008 anymore. But i am impressed with the counterweight engineering and small warning graphics they are now including. I think the next thing nzg can do to step it up is provide opening doors. Other than that, looks like a very nice model and look forward to it making its way to my collection soon
I agree,I had high hopes for this model,it doesn't seem too far advanced over the 11200 with the exception of the counter weight system, that is a deal sealer right there, more of that please NZG, we can hope that maybe on the 2nd run the pulley axles can be addressed and the ram and then start pumping out the liveries
Graham Barnewall yea, im sure chou will come out with a replacement cylinder at some point. Im thinking i will get this or a link belt tcc750 for christmas. Leaning more towards this though. But i think the sheave pin issue could be easily fixed
Whats the dealio with the Tonkin Linkbelts? I was so close to bagging a couple of them at Conexpo but decided to go for the Demag and some dirt models,I haven't seen too many reviews of them or photos posted, and the small few people who have one of them have said there are issues with them, they look great but is the engineering a bit iffy?
Graham Barnewall quality isnt too great, they were aiming at detail instead of build quality i think. I have the 8080 and 3275. They look great but they have issues. 8080 boom heel has a crack on one side so it leans to one side due to it being loose, 3275 outriggers, 1 in the front wont go up or down, 1 wont go all the way up or slide all the way in, catwalk behind the cab that folds up, one hinge was broke, wont boom up at a high angle. With all the sections out and boomed up all the way, minimum radius is like 3ft away. Cab panel was loose in the box, had to glue it back on. Clunky drums. They could have done alot better i think
Woah, the functionality looks awesome, spreader plates are easy to get, ycc may eventually come out with a metal cylinder not sure they didn't go full metal with it. Will get it, is it released yet or did you get early access to review it?
Do you know if this is scheduled to be released before Christmas ? Most of the on-line retailers I go through have not given a release date for this model........yet ! Anyway, very nice review as always. I do not own very many cranes (a total of 6), but this is one I would like to purchase--due to the counterweight mechanism, small detailed graphics, but mostly because I do not own a mobile crane bigger than the 4 axle Terex AC100/4L.
Very uninspired by this model. It seems NZG cut a lot of corners. The couldn't even put a hydraulic offset cylinder on the jib. I wish WSI produced this model. Thanks for the video, Ian.
Nice review, but you're lucky that your model comes ok, mine has broken a lot of parts, and not only mine, I contact with the shop I bought the model, and they check all the models (about 8) all the models were damaged in the same way or worst than mine. It's really disapointing to open your crane box and see that it's more like a lego box than a crane box. Fortunately the shop refund me de money and they will e-mail me when it's avallible again.

LTM 11200 is more better , for example wheels are made of metal and more realistic.
Thanks you 😀😀

It has been available from the Liebherr web shop for about a month. I would think dealers will start getting it soon.
I can't order from them, they got a lot of good stuff but they don't ship to the US.
Where can I buy the employee and the types (wheel) for LTM 1250-5.1?
Ik hoop dat de LTM1750 snel uit gaat komen

How do you retreat the Boom? I cannot do it!

I bought this model, very beautiful, but i have not really liked plastic wheels ( wheels of liebherr LTM 11200 are metal and are much more beautiful).
Very uninspired by this model. It seems NZG cut a lot of corners. The couldn't even put a hydraulic offset cylinder on the jib. I wish WSI produced this model. Thanks for the video, Ian.
I really don't like in this model wheels and plastic cylinder (i hope YCC make a metal cylinder for this model).
Glad you like the video. I think the ratchet offset actually replicates the base version of the real crane. Hydraulic offset is an option.
