Why so many people say it’s essential to get a early model Harley to stunt if you can with any year model and why do they care or is it specifically the roadster is the only one you can do that with? I know most are doing it for it being carbureted and not fuel injected but isn’t a 2017 roadster fuel injected? Is it for ease of maintenance or imperative to have for the bike run while doing a wheelie?
I'm pretty new to the Harley scene so I really don't know too much about them. I got the roadster because I liked how it looked and Brian had one for a few years so I knew it could perform well and I'd be able to ask questions down the road if need be. Obviously the old model Harley's are going to be cheaper. There are definitely differences between carb and FI, I don't have a lot of experience with carb bikes so I wouldn't be a good spokesperson on the pros and cons of each.
