I try to make videos about Canadian cities, towns, attractions, life in Canada, and just raw footage which shows what it is like to live in Canada, almost every day. In this video I walked in downtown Edmonton. Edmonton is the capital city of the Canadian province of Alberta. Edmonton is situated on the North Saskatchewan River and is the center of the Edmonton Metropolitan Region, which is surrounded by Alberta's central region. This video is virtual tour of Edmonton attractions and places of interest. Lots of homeless, and people with mental illness, especially Native people in the downtown core, It's really gone downhill in the past few years. 1:01 is a Native man, and mentally unstable. Lots of Red light and speeding cameras, probably the city with most of those cameras in the world. Summertime it gets dark around 10.30 to 11pm. But besides the negativity there are festivals happening and other events.
The city is still beautiful, especially in summer

No Canadian city is safe, compared by European or Asian standards, could seem safe for those living in the US, Mexico, South America, the Middle East, etc. Edmonton is definitely not the safest place in Canada.
