I used my Steam Deck with Windows 10 as my main PC for the majority of the year and it was a fantastic experience. I had it hooked into a dock connected to two monitors and I used Geforce Now for any games I wanted to run at a higher resolution.
I've been running the steam deck as my only computer for quite some time now. Using the valve official dock, and I haven't had any problems getting work done on it - I was already using external screen, keyboard and mouse with a laptop before, so switching was trivial. I haven't had any issues with my camera or any other peripherals either, but I did re-install the deck to use my favourite flavor of linux though (gentoo). It's an excellent device in my opinion, and the only thing I dislike so far is that I can't get steam VR running with the dock and my valve index. At some point in the future I'll probaby get some AR glasses instead of the screen, so I can carry with me a "dual-monitor" setup, like the nreal/xreal air 2, or rokid max. will probably wait one or two more generations before I commit to that though..
For such professional programs, there's a lot of free alternatives that, depending on youir use case, can be on par or even better. Krita, Davinci Resolve, Inkscape, GIMP, etc.
Thanks. It's the Nuphy Air75 v2. There's a review of it up on the channel and they're actually sending me the new 60% version of the same one for an upcoming video so watch this space :)

Class. Awesome that it worked out over such a long period.
for $350 you can play games and get your job done in the same time is as a student is a deal
I was looking at getting a laptop for about 600 bucks but now I might get a steam deck and a portable monitor.

That keyboard is pretty, which one is it? I'm looking for a 60% keyboard for my future deck.
