The foxes seem to be quite docile in general, it’s interesting to see. I didn’t know that about them before I started watching them here. Look at them even sharing mealtime with the hedgehog without blinking an eye. Seems they are quite content as long as their bellies are full, except for the males territorial instincts.

I’ve also been fascinated by how easily all the species of the animal world seem to live in Harmony around each other, and of course are all drawn to Debs and the Sanctuary she provides for them. Foxie was very happy for the chicken last night. He jumped up on veranda several times. Never seen it before. He also walked up the stairs to veranda. When i was on lawn putting food out foxie walked around on veranda. I was so surprised. He almost thinks he is my pet. At least some nights. Yesterday i could pat him on nose and feet. It went very well. Looking forward seeing Foxie in some hours. Another very hot day here today. Birdsong so beautiful in the golden evening light.

Spike for hedgehog. I found a baby hedgehog and called him Spike. He went to a sanctuary as i didnt know how to raise him and i gave him milk and it not good for them. I also found a baby and called him Barry and he went to a lady that had lots of hedgehog boxes in her garden and was like a little sanctuary for them. I visited Barry when he got a little bigger 😊 dont see many hedgehogs in the garden now 😢 used to be quite a few every year

I think pip doesn't pick on Howie because he knows with his disability he's no threat to to him his family or turf. Either that or if pip isn't related to chip and she's his girlfriend now, maybe Howie is related to pip like his brother. We know any other male fox pip has a problem with except family. Like cookie monster possibly ringo and jimny stays out his way now as well. Daphne is ok ok because she's female and Flo stays out his way as well. Complicated family dynamics and hierarchy. Oh my Jimmy that's not like you. What's wrong little man. Has someone upset you? Don't worry no one will hurt you with den mum there. Your nanny's little man so your quite safe. Pip, Daphne, and Jimmy are Chip Chip’s kits from last year. They’re siblings. We don’t know for sure, but I suspect that Flo is Jimmy’s lady love. The timing of her appearance a couple of months after Jimmy’s litter was born suggests that she’s okay with leaving the den for a few minutes.
Hedgehog names: Hoover or Roomba because they are navigating the house perimeter like they're vacuuming your edges. You guys call it hoovering. We don't because it's a brand of vacuum and a president, Herbert Hoover. Not HIS vacuums, in fact. But I like that the hedgehog is sorting out your edges. The Clean Up Crew doesn't get the edges.
