Thanq for the video Your daughter wants for nothing, she's a lucky girl to have two caring parents. You've got a lovely home on wheels. Stay safe on your travels.
I think it's fantastic that you've made so many adaptations to cater for a toddler and given her some space of her own. It looks like you've given more thought to her space than some people loving in fil sized houses, good on you, she's a very lucky little girl :) your van looks ace!
Thank you very much ☺️ We’ve tried our best to make it hers as well, not the easiest in such a small space! Fortunately she really enjoys all of the adaptations we’ve made.
I am so impressed w/your van build. You have thought of everything and are so well organized. It makes so much sense to have the kitchen split up into different areas. Your daughter will have more interactions, unique experiences& diversity than living in one place her whole life.As a young child, we moved 6times in 7 yrs. in 3 states, and I remember those yrs. fondly. So many ppl. stay at home and WISHED they had done something like this, but, are afraid to take the step, but, you boldly took it in leaps and bounds! Good for you. Have a Merry Christmas In Africa( if you do go there) or wherever you will be! God Bless!
Ah thanks so much, we really appreciate your kind comments and it’s great to hear that you look back on your time moving around as a kid fondly. It’s something we are forever weighing up because while we hope she enjoys the lifestyle and seeing new and exciting things all the time, we’re also aware that there are other things she’s missing out on. We’re hoping to cross to Morocco in the next few days in time for Christmas! We wish you a lovely Christmas too ❤️
Omg you’ve “Conmari’d” your clothes too, saves so much space - And you can actually see what’s in there. Can I ask do you use your oven that often? We have exactly the same one to install in our camper build but I’ve heard people say they never use the oven and it’s a waste of space
Is that the folding technique?! Didn’t know it had a name! We got pretty good at folding our clothes from 4 years of living out of backpacks and it works really well in the van too. It’s a little time consuming but definitely worth it 😁 We do actually use our oven quite often but we cook a lot and really enjoy it. We could definitely live without it but it’s very handy for us. I can see how for some people they would be a waste but especially because we live in the van full time, we find we use it a lot. Hope that helps!
Just found this video. Lovely to see another lovely family parenting the same way ❤ we have a two-year-old and we're still breastfeeding and co sleeping 🥰 isn’t it precious? Anyway, we're thinking of buying a van to travel with our little girl and watching your video was very inspirational!! Thank you so much ❤ wish we had the skills and time to do our own conversion too! Love yours!!! Best of luck for your adventures ❤
looks like you've made the van so nice for all three of you, and I'm sure it took a lot of figuring out, so well done! Thanks again for taking us along on your journeys.
Thank you, we are constantly trying to think of ways to make the space more suitable and fun for Ady, definitely not always easy but she really enjoys all of her areas 😁
Some ingenious Vanlife hacks there and so many great ideas for the lovely lodger. I love how open your layout looks compared to mine even though the bedroom area is almost identical. Great video as always.
The adaptations and upgrades are constant, as you well know so we’re sure there will be plenty more in the future as well. Not sure if the open look is helped by everything being white. We also had all the doors open for most of the filming which also helps 😀 Glad you enjoyed it anyway ❤️
Hari Om It's the little things, eh?! Good to see the blackboard being put to proper use and clearly the workings of cupboards and lights are no challenge for youngest Cassie resident. Oh but Ady... this old 'aunty' has a stool just like yours! It is very handy. Sending hugs and warm wishes to you - hope you have found some decent weather at last. Seven sleeps till Santa, wee one... YAM xx
In such a small place it definitely is the little things ☺️ We often talk about how much difference tiny changes that no one else would notice make for us. Ady is still not quite big enough for the stool to be useful but it won’t be long. And she’s already very interested in cooking so we’re really looking forward to getting her involved. We are basking in 19 degree heat finally 😅 Hope you’re well ❤️
Another GREAT Video. Just FYA. if you are ever in North Germany on your Travels and need Help for anything, just drop me an E-Mail. Backstory is that i am a Leeds Lad but I have been Living in Germany for the Past 30 Years. Safe Travels and I`ll see you in the next Video. Mike
Thank you very much, really appreciate that. Germany is definitely somewhere we’d love to visit in the van, we’re just not sure exactly when we’ll get there as yet. Maybe later this year!
