    Your arms should not be stretched out like that when racing dude, your wrist should be touching the top of the wheel when stretched out

      @@fondoo I've ran into the same trap. Bought a Sparco Pro 2000, and because of my large frame, i can barely squeeze myself into it and the shoulder supports are killing me as well. It could work when you are in a real car experiencing all kind of forces, but when you are stationary, you have to maximise comfort. Lesson learned.

    New with alu profile cockpit here, so do you buy the seat brackets with the seat or with the cockpit then buy the 3rd party seat (looking at Tr120 rig with ES1 seat)? Or it doesnt matter as any can be adjusted? Cheers

    Bro. Your seating position is very wrong. You never drive with hands so straight! You need to have a least a 35-45deg bend in your elbows. I have no idea how your neck, shoulders and back isn't destroyed by that TBH :) Check the videos online about it. That's also why you have problems sitting in that glorious Sparco you had.

    • @fondoo
      @fondoo  Год назад +2

      I have low calcium bone issues and its hurts when my arms are bent. But thank you for bringing it to my attention.

      @@fondoo ouch! Hope it's curable to some extent. Didn't mean no harm or so, sorry :) Unsure how to mitigate that, but maybe some compression clothing/sleeves on your elbows may help with pain while allowing you to seat closer? Just an idea, but I guess you know much more about this problem than I do :D
      Thanks for the video tho. Helped me to decide whether I should buy this one or some real racing seat.

    • @fondoo
      @fondoo  2 года назад +4

      I've been using the ES1 for about 2.5 weeks now and I do enjoy it very much. It does not pinch my triceps anymore so I'm happy. I'm 5'-10 @ 175 lbs and its very comfortable for me. I wish the seat pads was a little softer. Its good for 2-3hr game play. If longer, I would get a more padded seat.

    • @Malvin00

      @@fondoo it needs to be well padded

    • @jamesjlopez
      @jamesjlopez 2 года назад +2

      Have you found a solution for longer sessions? Does it get hot and sweaty along the bottom and back? Or do those channels next to the pads help with air flow? It looks like your arms are nearly straight from the side angle shot, have you remained with this position or moved the wheel closer? If closer does the tricep bump into the seat, seems like there could be clearance issues? Thanks for posting. Really want a new seat and looking to make the right choice.

    • @fondoo
      @fondoo  2 года назад +1

      I really loved my Sparco C2QRT but its pinching a nerve on my right tricep from the shoulder bolster and its starting to become painful. I wanted to those awesome Luso Motor seats, but its double the price of of the NLR ES1 and there's a 3 month wait. I picked up NLR ES1 from Microcenter that had three in stock. Comfortable enough for a 2hrs racing session. I do recommend these seats if your can't find any decent bucket seats in fb marketplace
