On iPhone 11, it is close to the default size = 10. As a result, the default size changes as the screen size increases or decreases. --> How do I know the standard size? --> * 0.024 is what the formula looks like?

Actually on iPhone 11 it returns almost 10 Like when i use 20 padding just multiple it with 2, also 10 is very easy to calculate and if the screen size is bigger our padding also increase It helps to make responsive UI
@Jai if you don't want to use provider, you can solve this problem by using callbacks (I think it is also called uplifting) in every level that you want to pass the data. But it makes the process of state management complicated if there is multiple level between sender and consumer (think of it like relationship between grandchildren and great grandfather). Also, stateful consume more hardware resource than stateless. That's why try to use stateless with another ways of state management (as in this tutorial : provider).
He's using a mac with the implemented Simulator. If you're using a Windows Computer you are not able to run the same Simulator as he is doing. Only working on mac.

When you click on back button it just return to the previous page, but selectedIndex isn't change, you need to change the selectedIndex when user press the back, maybe you can define new variable which contain previous selectedIndex.

If you want you widgets horizontally then you need to use row and for vertically it required column.
