These people don't realize this is a God's war. Thank God she was able to be alive, but the republicans don't care about you. People and the maggot people think Trump likes some. That feeling of complete and total helplessness. That feeling is a profound and life changing one.
Took supplies there last week from Virginia with my wife. We took very few pictures because it became emotional and just felt wrong. The images will never leave me, and I plan on going back this weekend to help again. I wish I had the ability to help in Florida as well because giving back in times like these helps so many people who are mentally devastated.

I do too. Many of these people are going to need lots of emotional counseling it just doesn’t go away. They have to process and that takes time. ❤️🙏🏻she does need a hug and lots of prayer

Survivors guilt is real. I hope that poor woman gets some help with her burden. Watching neighbors die, it’s unimaginable.

as I listen to these stories it just makes me truly thankful to God that he protected me and my family and Everybody else here in Florida that was affected by hurricanes Helene and Milton.

My heart breaks for this young lady just seeing that much death around her from losing her neighbors, and knowing she couldn't save any of them. Hoping everyone heals from this tragedy and hoping the government actually steps up and helps these people.

Talk to a friend of mine works for DH Griffith we work together friends for 30 years he said work with excavator in swannanoa Monday andctuesday is very disturbed at what he has seen, is very bad, very emotional.
I was there Sunday. I'm a US Marine that served in a combat zone. I can tell you that what I witnessed bothered me. There was a definite smell of death everywhere in the town that you couldn't get away from.
My daughter was in Bee Tree with her two younger daughters and perhaps my oldest granddaughter..who is twenty. Please some firefighter tell me if you saw. A forty year old blonde lady ,glasses ,a little overweight,pale and a thirteen year old and a baby maybe three. No one will help me find her

Do not to Red Cross! As a previous flood victim I can say that they do not distribute their money to victims. Donate to Samaritan.
“Samaritan’s Purse”, “Cajun Navy 2016” , “Operation Airlift”, “Mountain Mule Packers” are still actively helping and are GOOD, worthy organizations.
The Red Cross was involved in a scandal for not distributing funds to wildfire victims in California!
And FEMA will just take your donations to a warehouse

NC is a swing state. The western part is conservatives. It's no coincidence efforts to aid these voters were thwarted.
KH even said FEMA was promoting equity by prioritizing marginalized groups.
Limiting voters and accessibility is by design.
I was in Swanannoa last Sunday. Not to sound morbid. But there was a definite smell in the air. There is no way that all of these people will be found. And why werent they warned.
I saw a video of a woman from there say that the phone alerts werent sent out until AFTER phone service went down.
They were warned.
power and phone services went out before evacuation warnings and specific flash flood warnings were sent per multiple survivors ' accounts...

I live in Asheville and I can tell you there were no warnings! The power went out and cell phone service went down Friday morning when the storm hit.
I can tell you that the devastation is unbelievable! No way you can be here and not be emotionally disturbed. It’s really, really bad!

To lose everything is hard enough, but to deal with the trauma of having to fight to survive and to see your neighbors pass in front of your eyes on top of that... just awful. Unimaginable. I hope mental health resources are being brought into these areas along with other aid

I love NC so much. It's always been my favorite place to live. I lived in Hillsborough for 7 years and it was so peaceful, and tranquil. Everyone is friendly, and kind in NC! They would give someone in need, the shirts off their backs. I can't believe this happened where it did, because they really are the sweetest people in our country. Nothing in the world has effected my heart like the flood of 2024 has.

It is horrible devisation. There is so little transparency on how many people are really missing or have been recovered and awaiting identification. These people need help and it should not have taken this long for this lousey administration to put the order in to send help. Fight for the people and help each other.
Good God I am so glad you survived 😢. I can’t imagine how horrifying it was for you. 🤗😘🙏🏻my family lost a home in Elizabethton NC. I am hoping that things can be done to quickly help the victims. We cannot access our home but the guys loaded 3 trucks full of water food and supplies and drove it up there. Then we faced Milton thank God we didn’t get wiped out.
I’m in Canada and have never experienced a flood but this is scary and devasting losses 😢
