    Played the QST tour today. Haven't played that in a while. Winter is coming, so I wanted to get a jump on finding my softer winter ball. I forgot how great that ball is. I was getting drop and stop action with my wedges all day. Great distance everywhere. Such a great ball.
    Best

      Agreed... great all rounder and the qualities it lacks compared to the Z Star.. are lost in the cold air and the soft greens!

    I tried the Diamonds lately on holiday. Feel is really good, like a chromesoft X but the cover chewed up as I was warming up hitting into nets.

      Ah mate!! don't use your good balls in the nets! find the top flights in the corner haha

    Saying the softer q-star tour will produce more ball speed with driver is just wrong. A firmer ball is a faster ball at all swing speeds. There is no issue with "not compressing it enough". There will definitely be different feel preferences, though.

      Hit them with a Lady or Senior and see :)

      I'll see if I can get a test dummy and show you the numbers

      @FredzGolf I don't need to see a test dummy. It's physics and it has been tested with swing robots, which is going to provide consistent info vs a human where club speed, strike, dynamic loft, etc will vary swing to swing.
      You even see it yourself when you test with driver and notice you can't get the q-star tour over a certain ball speed while the z-stars can.

      @EdReed20DB yes at 112mph

      @FredzGolf Doesnt matter. Firmer is faster. I'm talking strictly ball speed. Slower speeds may get more distance through higher launch and less spin, but purely speaking ball speed.
