The boot is made from a very pliable plastic just like their Rambo figures. I think it’s a fantastic idea. Inside the boot is a basic ball and hinge joint.
@@robertsinfiniterealms1308 he's very nice looking. And I'm not a real manipulator of figures. I'm more a pose once every few months person. So if you don't care super possibility you'll like him.
Great Review Gains. I do have the Mezco Dredd but will buy this Hiya version because I am that Dredd fan who needs it. Hiya did all the Rambo versions so they need to make the movie Dredd versions too. I want BOTH Stallone & Karl Urban Dredd figures. Gimme The Law!
Been waiting for my Hiya Toys Cobra Commander for a year now. Fun fact - they've released renders, previews and preorders for roughly 25 figures but have only released 2. No worries, my Cobra Commander is expected December 2023.......fail
@@Toygains yep. But only like $30 compared to those Judge Dredd figs. Credit Card preorder through a Texas shop since Hiya won't directly ship to the US consumers.
Joe Brown ❤️🤣🤣 mid figure compared to other versions not sure this is a must add. I only know the movies so never knew he had a blue oyster leather suit with quick access zipper for that moment. 😂😂
I was waiting for a decent review on this figure, so thank you for that. I love the character, but this one it looks cheap for the price or maybe not imposing enough for the price. If I had to choose the Dick Tracy or the Rambo will win over it. Plus is short er than most WTF maybe he can be Warbird boyfriend.
Nowadays toys cost more than d***s, Fam. Glad you got a little discount. Always like the take in your reviews; you just come across authentically and make it fun.
I did wish they just scaled their1/18 judge dredd (whim is all plastic) to 1/12. Couldn’t pull the trigger cause of all the hidden issues… so just gonna make my storm cyberblue into judge dredd
This is a high maintenance pleather suit, gonna chip with time and gonna look like a dog with skin disease (happened with my mezco blade with pleather jacket and pants😢) so far my captain Nemo is still doing fine but only time will tell if this would age like milk or fine wine 😅
I love the Toy Biz Dredd and I was sooo looking forward to this one from Hiya. But, I don't like the material that that suit is made of and the $100+ price tag made me pump the brakes on getting him. But, he does look damn good.
Dredd has been around since the 70's? Wow did not know that. Tbh this design has never clicked with me, looks too goofy, now if they made a figure of the Karl Urban Dredd....

@@TheToyOdyssey ok that makes me feel a bit better. It's very unique I'll say that.
I've had some bad experiences with Hiya's 1:18th efforts and still have not delved into their 1:12th offerings, this might be one to consider.
