I wonder if there was a class character that was Italian, what class he would be? I mean, Heavy is Russian because of Russian bodybuilders, Sniper is Australian because bushrangers, Spy is probably French because of Secret Agent 077 (French is also the most suave and sophisticated sounding language but that's probably not why), Soldier is American because of course he is, Engineer is most likely from Austin which is known to be a tech capital, Medic is a German mad scientist and as for Demoman and Scout, IDK... and Pyro's nationality has never actually been confirmed in spite of the Mexican cosmetics.
I have to correct you. Sniper is grown in Australia but he's canonical from New Zealand. Engineer is not from Austin, he's also American, by Texas. Scout is American too, from Brooklyn NY. And for the Demoman... How you don't know that he's Scottish? Lol Pyro is the only one with mysterious nationality, for me it's Italian, but he may be Mexican or Spanish.
@@Pyrogre No, Sniper was retconned because the lore about Australians hadn't been introduced when the game was released and they had to explain why he seemed wimpy by contrast, Austin is a city in Texas and Demoman is a Scottish Highlander from the village of Ullapool. Caber tossing is a sport in the Highland Games, though the cabers they use for it aren't explosive (caber is Gaelic for steel beam). I meant I don't know why Scout is from Boston or Demoman from Scotland. I have no idea what Boston has to do with people quick on their feet or what Scottish people have to do with demolitionists or bombs. This was directly implied based on what my main point was. I don't mean to be rude but if you're going to talk like you know what you're talking about, you should put more thought and research into what you say. I don't appreciate being "corrected" by people who I have to so heavily correct myself.
Ok sorry let me put this. I followed the comic and besides who think it's canon or not, I highly prefer to think that "if it's from Valve, creator of the game, then it's canon". So Sniper is not fully australian. And I'm happy to see that you know, and very much, about Demoman and Scout. Second, I wasn't meant to be rude in the first place, I thought you was confused that's all. You're probably smart and everything, I don't know you man. So don't be so insulted, and don't be arrogant with saying that last sentence. Just don't think that I was to blaming you because I wasn't. I hope we're going to be good 'cause both of us are TF2 fans and both we know enough about what our game is like. Also I read bad Austin lol, I thought you writed Austria
