I flew in to Greensboro NC one night on business a few years ago. It's 2:00 AM, in a rental car looking for my hotel in a town I didn't know. I was hungry. I found a Cookout and I will NEVER forget what a treat that was. No other fast food restaurant comes close. I went back for lunch and again for dinner the next day.
Tin foil wrapped burgers are the BEST...if you are driving home to eat them , they are going to be warm when you get home and BONUS the steam softens the bun. Only places that really care wrap in tin foil.
There's a spot five minutes down the road from this cookout its a new restaurant slash drive through. I forgot its name but its a block away from subway. My cousin works there you should review it

Now that I've discovered Cook-Out, I'll have to eventually make a trip to the Cook-Out there and try some of their food.

I came across Cook Out on my family trip to South Carolina and I was very impressed with it. The food and milkshakes were great but the Cheerwine blew me away. Looking forward to trying Cook Out again someday.

FAST...Food Pit Stops I live in Toronto but I have to drive out of the city for a bit and there's a small pop store that has all these different kinds from all over its awesome. They only had cheerwine in the glass bottles though.
working at cookout ' i can tell you its sloppy because they used to big of a ladle of cheese and the burger was sloppy because of that . also the bacon was over cooked so it was hard for the grill man to place the grilled onions on top of the crispy bacon .

Went to the one in Radford Va and I got the big double southwest burger and I received a regular burger cut in half. From this video that is 2 big patties on the bun. So what is wrong with this picture

It reminds me of a cherry Dr Pepper, but not exactly. Hard to describe but it's good. There's only a few stores here in TN that have it, but our local Bojangles has it on their fountain.
I'm vegan now, but used to love getting a double or triple whopper from Burger King. The triple from Wendy's was also good. I'm up north, so we don't have many places like Cookout. It's becoming more uniform.
