Hi Julien, great video! As you said the BW maybe is the real game changer in order to get rid of the most of the metal artifact, but I want to mention two others parameters that are strictly related to the metal artifact reduction: Echo Space and the turbo factor. The first one should be the lower possible in order to avoid protons dephasing and the second one should be the higher possible in order to collect the most possible number of echo before protons start dephasing due to the inhomogeneities of B0. Just to share my personal experience in mri mars sequences! Keep it up with your RUclips channel, I've found it very helpful! For example it helped me a lot in learning cardiac mri planning!
Hello Alessandro. First and foremost, thank you so much for reserving some time in writing down such delightful comment. I am sure many MR radiographers will benefit from these concepts you shared (I will try to put them in practice as well). Also, I want to tell you that I am very glad you found those cardiac videos useful. That was the main reason I opened the channel in the first place. Meaning, giving something back to the community. I am happy it worked for some 🙏🏻
It was absolutely well spent time! I'm eager to learn new tips and share what I learnt and try to improve my "skills" as rad tech! I mentioned those two parameters because I read some years ago a Philips mri discussion, but I've never had the opportunity to test it out in the way it's meant to be... I don't really know if they could lead to a significant improvement of the image quality or not so considering do it for us and make another video! 😊
love your videos as a new mri tech! maybe some videos showing the acutual parameters used in practice to obtain quality images, trade-offs etc. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much for such a kind comment. I have some good news for you. There will be something coming in the next few months in terms of MRI parameters that you might enjoy. Stay tuned 😉
Hello. I did not use compressed sensing because we did not have it available on that scanner. I used the classic GRAPPA. The scan time, as mentioned in the video, was very long. Around 8 minutes. This can be compensated with deep resolve if you have the software, unfortunately this was not the case in the test I made.
Hello. Thank you for watching. Unfortunately, it has been long time since I have manipulated the bandwidth on a GE scanner. However, I am pretty sure you will find this optimisation session, recorded directly by the manufacturer, quite useful: ruclips.net/video/xkeW8ID5_vI/видео.htmlsi=mOEtZFOYSgb3nHJY Hope this helps 🤞🏻
Ciao Manuela.

Eeesh! I really wanna have a tones of knowledge in MRi! Just like you!😞
Hi Julien, loving your videos.... I have a question regarding the image acquisition in DWI. Are there any tips or tricks regarding that?
Thank you so much for your support. Nothing to worry about, a video about DWI tips and tricks is already in our to-do list. Stay tuned 😊

You're more than welcome. Hope you enjoyed 😊
@@everything-mri very! In fact I am a novice in MRI! Hoping to learn alot from you! They have installed it at our place so will be practicing alot!
Hi Julien! Did you use compressed sensing in the exemple with SEMAC that you show? And what was the adquisition time?

Dear Julien Please advise me how to change BW in GE machine
