  • If you've got some young Sesame Street fans in your life, then Sesame Place in Langhorne, Pennsylvania might be for you. It's a children's amusement park about 30 minutes from Philadelphia, PA and has a lot of fun packed into it. In this video, I'll tell you everything you need to know about the park so you can plan an amazing trip there.
    To start off, Sesame Place is broken down into a few themed neighborhoods: Sesame Plaza, Sesame Neighborhood, Elmo's World, Cookie's Monster Land, The Count's Court, Sesame Island, and Twiddlebug Land. These areas are filled with your favorite Sesame Street characters (like Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby, Oscar, Grover, Bert and Ernie, and more), dry rides, roller coasters, water park activities, and water slides. Plus, you can see some like shows (Elmo the Musical: LIVE! and The Magic of Art), parades, and fireworks. If you're planning a family vacation to Sesame Place, make sure to watch the video to see all the things you can see and do.

    Going here as a fieldtrip with my best friends from school in 5 days! I’m so excited even though it’s based off a toddler show, we’ve been looking forward to it for months! Not only because of the park, it’s the first time going to an amusement park with my #1 best friend! I’m so excited, I can’t wait!!!

    Fantastic vid. We are heading there today to ride those two coasters on our tour! I have to admit I'm a little more excited than I should be. I have not been to sesame place in about 30 years and it looks so incredibly different than when I was a kid. I can't wait to try and see if anything jogs my memories!

    Thank you for this virtual trip. I went to Sesame Place ages and ages ago in Texas with my mom and my little brother. He was about 3 or 4 and I was probably 13, but I think I had more fun than he did. It closed down a long long time ago and I've always been curious about it. When we were there, they didn't have many rides from what I remember.

      I'm glad you liked it. I recommend one of the nearby hotels that has a free shuttle to the park. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. It wasn't fancy, but had a free breakfast and free shuttle (about 5 minutes to the park). We were at the park all day, so we were only at the hotel at bedtime so we didn't need anything too extravagant. Plus, pretty much everyone else at the hotel was going to Sesame, so definitely family friendly.

    Is this park big enough to entertain a 4 year old for a day or would I need more than one day? Looking at more so the "dry" rides and attractions. Great video, thank you!

    • @FirsthandGlobetrotting
      @FirsthandGlobetrotting  5 лет назад +1

      Definitely plenty to entertain them for an entire day. If you want to do some of the other stuff like water park, live shows, pictures with characters, then I'd definitely recommend a second day. Time flies when you are moving at pre-schooler/toddler speeds, especially if there are lineups.

    • @FirsthandGlobetrotting
      @FirsthandGlobetrotting  4 года назад +3

      I think March would be in the 40s and low 50s. We went at the end of the season (early September) and it was nice because it was warm enough for the water park but not too hot. I think you should definitely try to go when it is good water park weather since about 1/2 of the park is water attractions.

    • @JamieNotLamie
      @JamieNotLamie 5 лет назад +1

      @@FirsthandGlobetrotting that's actually what we ended up doing! We did cautiously leave our phones buried in our stuff in the stroller while in the water park and whatnot as I did order some waterproof phone packs but they came the day after we left thanks to prime day slowing us down I guess. :/ But we did have a blast and it was perfectly safe leaving our stuff in the stroller so long as we covered everything with the canopy, it seemed off limits enough that people actually put their stuff UNDER our stroller, so I guess it looked safe.
      But regardless, we had a total blast and I'm so glad I got the 2 day tickets. She has a new love in Snuffy.

    • @FirsthandGlobetrotting
      @FirsthandGlobetrotting  3 года назад +1

      I don't think you can take babies on most rides if they aren't old enough for their own seat. I think you can have a baby in your arms on the carousel, the splash parks, and pools. Most of the others required the kids to be able to sit on their own.
