- In this video, we are conducting a blind taste test to see which brand has the better chocolate sandwich cookie, Great Value, Back To Nature or Oreo.
The Great Value cookies were $1.98 at Walmart. They are 53 calories each.
The Back To Nature cookies were $3.79 at Kroger. They are 65 calories each.
The Oreo cookies were $2.98 at Walmart. They are 53 calories each.

Tami, it's because of the ingredients that the Back To Nature Cookies are more expensive.
I wish they would write some sort of an explanation on the box. They mentioned their use of recycled paper, but nothing about the food itself.
Like others have said the ingredients to the Back to nature are simpler looking at the other two I noticed that they both have high frutose corn syrup and artificial flavors added to them where the BTN does not. but they are cookies after all so it depends if you care about HFCS, artificial flavoring etc to pay more.
To me those Great Value looked unappetizing and I didn't like the pattern/texture on top they choose for the cookies either.
It was refreshing to see a brand beat Oreo!
I just picked up 2 packs of back to nature classic cremes today, had to see if someone else had my same sentiment that these are better than oreo.. Nice to see other people think so too. (got em at the bargain market, was cheaper than oreo even,) just perfect texture and good taste.

The ingredients that are in the back to nature are healthier for you then the others hence the price difference

Back to Nature also makes a great fig bar if anyone is interested.
the back to nature ones have WAY better ingredients than oreos and taste better than oreos in my opinion. I wouldnt mind spending the money because i'd rather put good stuff in my body than chemicals.

I would buy the back to nature by far. Looking at the comments, looks like other like back to nature as well. Way healthier.
Great Value does make these sugar cookie ice cream sandwiches. Now those are worth a try.
We have been impressed with the Great Value ice creams that we have tried.
I think the back to nature cookies are more about the quality of the ingredients and are more environmentally friendly tho they need to give more info on the pack.

Tami - I think the box you got had the "old look" on them. 6 years on, I think Back to Nature’s price has stayed closer to the price she quoted.

It's a good review, but it would be better if the reviewers gave their impressions WHILE they are eating - flavor, texture, smell. I do like it how you have them guess which is which.
The reason we don't talk while eating them is so they can guess without influencing each other.
That's a valid point however it should be possible to describe the product without indicating which product is which. "This one seems sweeter than the last one" or "it's crunchier".

Love Oreos I don’t keep them in the house cause I will eat them plus being pregnant. We are having a little princess im excited to meet her. Did you have a cravings when you where pregnant tami? And if so what?

You really should’ve compared the ingredients. You’d find back to nature you can actually pronounce all the ingredients. No artificial colors or flavors.
