That's how I feel about all my favorite groups / bands T_T I want them to be and feel successful, to earn enough money to keep going for a long time, to be happy and proud of themselves, but also I know that if they blow up, they will become unapproachable - what would be the chances of getting the concert tickets to a band that has nearly a million fans lining up? I know very well that it's selfish, but there it is... When they're not extremely famous, the relationship between the band and the fans is so much more intimate and warm, and I like that a lot.
