Wow! This is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
Wow, that was very interesting!
This is not ghawazee...
This is an interpretation of tribal style of those dances.
Verdade,eu iria falar a mesma coisa
Anytime you see a yelek...and group dancing like this...
It's American tribal
Hi lulu, yes we were not recreating a true folk dance here. We were very much A product of our time in the mid 1990s. This was a mixture of Middle Eastern dances as well as contemporary American bellydance. We never called ourselves “tribal” but World Fusion Bellydance.
This is modern American tribal. NOT ghawazee or even beledi.
Hi lulu, yes you are 100% correct. This is absolutely not the ghawazee dances of the banat Mazin . We were a middle eastern inspired dance group & very much a product of our time… the mid 90’s. We were aware of the Mazin sisters, at the time & were inspired by them. But we created our best having limited resources for folk & “middle eastern dances” we never called ourselves American tribal, which is a different style from California. The description on the video explains this as well. Thanks for posting tho, I definitely don’t want people to be confused ❤️
