My favorite pens are Pilot Acroball PureWhite 0.7mm ballpoint pens.
When I first started studying Japanese's jōyō kanji ( 常用漢字 ), those white pens were able to make fine lines well so I was able to get the fine details of some kanji ( e.g. 謁 ).
Plus, they never dried out.
I'll be sure to get some Sarasa pens & try them out too when I practice writing kanji.

I use to watch one of their news shows ( ニュース女子 ) & see DHC commercials a couple years back.

You're the sweetest, tysm💗🥺 I definitely recommend you the Zebra Sarasa but I've also heard great things about Pilot!!
Also if you ever wanna try the DHC product I've showed in the video keep in mind that they have a crayon like smell so if you're sensitive to the smell of lip products then I wouldn't recommend it 🫶 Ily

The Pilot pen I mentioned is made in Japan last time I checked so that's likely why the quality is so good.
