Introduces a couple of fixes for exploits in songs, as well as a new hell mode for the 4th song. Unlock progression is now tracked, and mechanics have been nerfed to be less demanding on the player's multi-tasking abilities.

you don’t press space on beat, you press it when his pendulum is in the center, doing it on beat can greatly mess you up
also, there’s a secret song in this mod, go to the menu and go from story down to freeplay down to options and then go back up in the same way, do this repeatedly until you hear a noise and your cursor appears and then click the zero in the bottom left
Some context for the mod:
Hypno’s lullaby is a mix of official info and creepypasta, the creepypasta being based on the info about hypnos kidnapping children and feasting on their dreams, with the creepypasta hypno doing the same but also killing them and ra-...uh...I mean...”having fun with them”
The lyrics in the first song are almost completely similar to the actually hypno’s lullaby, which you can find on youtube, just with some of the lyrics changed to have him be referring to fnf and the current situation gf is in
The reason hypno’s head came off is because he used up too much energy to hypnotize gf in the first song, and at the end of the second, he succeeds in hypnotizing gf and he takes her somewhere (btw, the move he kept using to raise the hypnosis was psyshock)
The limbless ghost in monochrome is ... from the creepypasta lost silver, one of the better creepypastas out there since it deviates from the whole corrupted being going around killing people and does the haunted game cartridge concept PERFECTLY, basically someone gets a used copy of pokemon silver for cheap and when he boots it up, the save file of the previous user is still there with the trainer being named ‘...’, maxed pokedex, max money, and max levels, the party is a cyndaquill and 5 unowns, the unowns spelling “LEAVE” and the cindaquil being named “HURRY”, he’s stuck in sprout tower and as he travels through the tower, the unowns make more messages like “DYING” and “NO MORE”, the character slowly loses his limbs, eyes, and color, cyndaquill dies a horrible death instead of fainting, and lastly in a fight against a ghostly red/blue trainer, your shiny celebi (which is only the right half of one) uses perish song and dies from it and their bloody pikachu uses destiny bond afterwards, willingly killing itself by doing so, your trainer then dying and being trapped among multiple graves, dying nameless, alone, and forgotten despite his success as a trainer
That thing that kept appearing on the left was the shiny celebi from the story and it uses perish song 3 times during the song (like how it kills you in 3 turns in the game), which reduces your health every time down to 1/2
The letters are pokemon called unown, which resemble letters as well as ? and ! (think of them as the pokemon version of hieroglyphs)
Also, if the unown are on screen, they either instantly kill you if you try pausing to prevent cheating, or you just can’t pause (I think it depends on the version)
But... The whole point of the pendulum is to help you stay on beat
Banbuds himself said it’s all about the center, sure, doing it on beat will make you hit it on time, but the beat usually doesn’t match up with the center, so you don’t get as much back, and in left unchecked, it can be REALLY hard to hear the beat over hypno’s cries and the other sounds in the instrumental, and the fact that they put the pendulum right in front of your face proves they want you to follow that over the beat, cause it’s pretty hard to do it purely on a barely audible inaccurate beat and muscle memory while focusing on the notes, it’s better to do it visually
@@solarguard7301 Finally someone that noticed this. Left Unchecked doesn't seem to have a specific beat to press space to, but Safety Lullaby does, tbh I just look at the pendulum all the time, and when he's singing I listen to the beat bc he moves his hand around too much. For Left Unchecked I just look at the arrows and try to stay on "beat", when I start messing up I look at the pendulum.
@@Xenorvya yeah, personally I think that is the reason left unchecked is probably the hardest song for first timers, cause safety lullaby incorrectly conditions them to press it on beat and then left unchecked comes around and screws them over since they still try to do it on beat
@@solarguard7301 Ight I'm back, I just beat Monochrome on hell mode, second try because I misstyped frustration so it could've been my first try if I didn't type so fast.
Personally Left Unchecked is the hardest for me, I'll attempt hell mode, I attempted it before but I couldn't beat it.
And yeah exactly, Safety Lullaby; hell mode or not, is on beat, but Left Unchecked, I can't find a beat to it, it's just there swinging.
Im pretty sure this is the nerfed version, the charting is different and it seems like the hypnosis is more lenient. Good job nonetheless.

I only recently realized what was happening.
Silver is using celebi to rewind time every time you fail to type the sentence or word.
Actually Celebi uses Perish Song to bring down your "health" aka you'll fail sooner when missing notes

I was talking about the non game lore of celebi being able to rewind time. Unknowns are just.... game wise weak, lore wise they're op as hell for some gosh darn reason to the point they can stand their own ground to Entei.

It’s actually not too hard, you just need to study the unown letters, banbuds did post a chart with all the unown letters to study them from (no, it’s not the thing in the files that Ryan found, idk why he looked in the files rather than google)
Plus a lot of the unown greatly resemble the letters they’re based on, so you can piece together the words easily by just looking at them
