There was a caller on super scoreboard yesterday explaining how Rangers have solved a way to play against us, saying that Rangers use a half press and we cannot play through it, Hugh keevins etc tried to downplay it and say the system can’t always work every game, my personal opinion would be the next game against them things need to be mixed, give Rangers some food for thought, notice that one ball over the top and Kyogo scored but was offside, not once did we try something different like that on Thursday we kept trying to play the same constantly and it didn’t work

You, every Celtic fan and his Granny world wide saw what the issues were in that game after ten minutes. Taylor , Scales and Hatate should have been hooked at half time. Our midfield were being overrun and lost every one on one tackle. However the only person who could have adjusted things and beefed up our midfield was Rodgers.
He saw the car wreck happening in real time but failed to react appropriately.

They Have NOT Solved a Way.
THAT Press is EASY to Break Through, but We Didn’t as 5 Yard Passes Were Three Yards Misplaced.
Same ‘Formula’ was Used at CP Earlier in Season...As Soon as it was Broken ‘The Offside Goal’ The Rangers Buckled...
We Were WAY Off It on Thursday...But We Move On Quickly. :-)

Hamish. You sound surprised that Hatate is giving the ball away... With the exception of his first game when he scored twice when has he ever played well against Rangers. He was awful in May's Scottish Cup Final. A man down in these games.

Right mate . I honestly cannot remember seeing any pro level player give the ball away as much as. Hatate . It’s game after game he’s wasting possession constantly. A good 45 mins against st Johnstone or Ross county every 4 or 5 weeks won’t do. Quite simply he’s a total liability at present and has been for a long time it can’t continue..

Agreed. Hatate just isn't as good as we think he is. He can just do some world class things once in a blue moon. Yet all players can have their moments. I genuinely believed that Hatate has been over hyped since his arrival. How people compared him to MOR is beyond me.

@ somebody gave an interesting stat yesterday. He’s got two assists in 29 games . From an offensive midfielder that is unbelievable. Kind of blows out the water the argument that he is just a bit up and down. Started off brilliantly but sadly he is now a complete liability and has been for some time . We desperately need a 10.

While this was a shambles of a game and there is no room for complacency, people need to calm down. A week ago we were celebrating one of the best years in the club’s entire history with this team. We’ve lost one game against Rangers in how long? It’s been staggering, the level of success. We’re eleven clear. And if you look at the circumstances… their manager fighting for his job. Revenge for the cup final. A packed stadium of desperate fans, a legitimate increase in form for them, and us being so far ahead, it’s tough to avoid that subconscious complacency. It all came together and provided us with what we can use as a massive wake up call. Hopefully the bhoys will bounce back stronger as they so often do 🍀

Far too many players spend their time pointing away from them indicating they don't want the ball. CalMac Hatate and Taylor do it all the time. If you are pointing you are not ready to receive a pass. Ban the pointing and the back passing. Midfielders must be moving and able to receive passes all the time.

I think a big problem in midfield is we haven’t replaced Matt O’Reilly and it’s starting to show with the lack of creativity in midfield. Callum McGregor has to do better on field as a captain and give the players direction. However, on Thursday he was running about like a headless chicken trying to correct everyone else’s mistakes- Adam is a concern for me he has to be better and receiving the ball if our strikers aren’t scoring goal they have to do more to affect the game. I think the players got spooked a couple of days ago and the team is missing a Scott Brown ego.

Bit harsh boys, we're all hurt but don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Something wrong with how complacent we are, not starting well in less than half the games is not good enough. Pressure on management last year drove them to success, so hopefully more of the same.

Big demands Stevie for a man who had done nothing but deliver for the team! Whether you like it or not, you've got to give rangers a bit of credit for the game on Thursday. Rangers got their tactics right. I have no doubt there will mora than likely be another treble. Brendan is the most elite manager we have ever had. I'm sure he knows what he's doing.

The Rangers have shown that on their day they can pick up big wins but they are so inconsistent. Celtic have shown at times they can be dominated to the point of complete collapse. Thursday basically showcased the aforementioned. Celtic are still buying too many players who should be taking a first team spot but are turning more into squad players.

Of course we’ll respond, a home game v St.Mirren, not a problem, let the Huns enjoy the 3 points they won, it was a ghastly performance from Celtic 😮 how Hatate came out after the 1st half is a mystery, surely the manager saw he was extremely poor🧐
The Huns seemed to want it more, they where 1st to every 50/50, they passed it quickly & got stuck in whilst some of our guys didn’t look up for it🤔 I imagine our Brendan will sort us out for tomorrow & get us back firing 😊🍀👌🏽

It wasn't that long ago that Celtic were being praised for the squad, not just their team....and how they had one good player after the other being substituted on.
Players are not machines, they will have some off days. Sitting where they are in the league table as well as the champions league table and having just won the cup, the amount of abuse Celtic have got in the past few days from 'fans' is so OTT. It's just as well we play in the Scottish league....they'd never be able to handle supporting an English club, even the top ones, where you're going to get beat and not win anything some seasons. While I agree there's nothing like the atmosphere created by Celtic fans in European nights, the 'faithful through and through' but doesn't really happen. And this must negativity only puts the players on a downward spiral.

Kt may help with drilling the fight and determination required when you pull on the shirt. We are still building and have done brilliant this season . However the two games that were really important away from home this season with really big intimidating atmosphere they have folded like a pack of cards and put two of the worst performances can remember in many years watching the club. If some of the guys can’t handle intimidating away atmospheres then maybe we are not the right fit for them. Agree with Stevie re 2000. that was different we played football made chances etc . The manner of the performance on Thursday was a different level of bad ,

Maybe the arrogance such as ‘they are pish’ is what has transcended on to the team and why they got pumped. Not just beat, absolutely skelped. Let’s be honest, rangers are not Pish. They proved that on Thursday. They have had really bad results yes, but on Thursday they played really well. They played in a way to stop Celtic, it was not the low block that this video would have people believe. They got forward at will and it felt like they could score each time, while not allowing a sniff

However, to be absolutely deflated and raging at the manager, crucifying particular players etc despite having had an ultimately completely successful season up to the halfway stage is honestly confusing. The position we are currently in was unthinkable only a little over two decades ago.
What’s even more confusing is their side celebrating a 3-0 win, despite also being spanked 3-0 to remain 11pts behind and losing out on the first trophy already 🤣🤔

And let's be honest would only be a moral high ground until a few of your support did the same. Then it's back to a blame game. Unfortunately every club has morons hell bent on trouble.
