It is the same thing every year. They either make minor menu changes to make it look new or they make a “new” feature that was in the game before
I like parts of it, I go balanced through-out and that is why i feel like it's average compared to the missed opporunity there still is here

The removal of prematch walkouts and lineups is almost a dealbreaker for me and this game as a career mode player.
Pretty sure they used user data on this. I hate wasting time on those screens, only great on your first week of play

Im liking the new player career mode. The whole agent aspect is something ive been waiting for to make transfers more accessible👍
For me Player Career Mode is the same as last year, the agent doesn't change much for me as I personally liked the almost random element of which clubs come in for you
@Vizeh it always felt like I had the same clubs offering deals for me though. Maybe i was just unlucky but most times I don't get many unique offers and it's just united and city. And now with being able to choose a club you can create storylines for players which is cool
i played the beta. and it feels completely the same. they need to include multi year deals and the teams dont make sense. it needs to be more realistic. Saka will never play for Man U and why the hell is jude leaving madrid to go play for chelsea. it’s frustrating as hell whenever you sign a contract to play with a team and they sell the best players and bring in rubbish.

I stopped at 19 with the repetitiveness . Btw, and I know some of you didn’t have the privilege to play some of the older games, but fifa was good easily since 98. Also, fifa 2003 was a revolution of a game, and any game between 2008 and 2012 were probably the best.
Until fifa 23 which I have a chance and didn’t care for, I hadn’t bought a fifa game since fifa 17 and I hadn’t really missed it.
This coming from someone who bought it every from fifa 01 to fifa 17.
Fifa 08 is arguably my favourite of all of them.
Fifa 12 is the GOAT.

How anyone is paying the same price and preordering is beyond me. This is why we cant get finished games on release. We throw our money at developers no matter what.

As a Newcastle fan the shadows when playing Newcastle on Fifa games has always driven me crazy! it doesn't need to be realistic to the point where I can't see properly on a sunny day.

Btw. The only reason there are massive packs already is because everybody was given 4.8k fifa points for pre-ordering the game. EA know people will get excited, buy them with no promos, and not make many coins. Most who have done that rather than saving the points will then buy more points later on in the game
That can be one reason but not the only, most people already spent all their points on 7.5ks before it came out, Or as Chuboi’s tweet suggest who is an ex EA employee, they simply want to make as much money as possible before the 3rd quarter to show to their shareholders without the FIFA branding

@@Vizehbecause it’s smart opening them now. You got players like griezman you can pack for 100K coins and sell them. I packed a hero Marquez off of a 7.5K pack with the fifa points I got for pre ordering the game. All the cards prices are boosted bc it’s the beginning of the game and it’s easy to pack. For example I packed Darwin Nunez like 5 times that’s 35K!!! That’s a lot of coins. Now we can grind future sbcs and maybe but a few promo players in the future.
Fun fact : EA spends more money on marketing to fool us consumers than actually making a good football game

Thanks for the great review mate, as always. Would love to see you deep dive on other modes to note any changes, if any. I'm just going to wait for the free release for this one, haven't bought a fifa game for 2 years now. I'm mainly a career mode player and the lack of attention to that mode over the years has been awful, yet ultimate team gets everything because its their cash cow. Not surprised about those super packs being released already, they know they can milk content creators because they have to spend the money.

The amount of removed features for the game over the last 15 or so years would probably end up being a wish list of things we'd flip out for if they were back in.
I used to play FIFA religiously since FIFA 08 until 23, because the last 5 years I gave gained more attention to Football Manager. And imo Football manager is a better game then FIFA
Judging by the trailer and cover, I thought the game was gonna have a Player control type game mode like 2k. Where you could play with legends along with current players
What I *always* find sad is the fact they don't care about making any new changes to old/current gen.
My main issue is the gameplay. I feel so sluggish when I run around. Idk what it is but my players run like they’ve never ran before. Already turned off auto sprint etc
All that matters is that I didn't buy it. I'm happy just modifying old FIFA games. They are way better than Fifa 24

I have had two FIFA games. FIFA 15, which I played for quite a while (it was a package deal with a PS4) and later I got FIFA 20 on the cheap. So the changes from 15 to 20 were quite significant for me when piling up all the changes from the additions in between.
One crucial thing that wasn't mentioned about Player Career mode: They've removed the ability to request loans and transfers. This really breaks it for me, I started a career mode, saw there was no possible way to go on loan anywhere or request a transfer to see which random clubs may want me. And the fact that fulfilling the objectives for your target club is piss easy, it's so arcadey now. I won't say it's bad, it's an interesting take, but it's nowhere near what I want it to be. Might just stick to 23 for player career mode lol...

I had the same mindset on the stadium & other EAFC items. For the stadiums I just apply any stadium I pack, now you can apply items straight away.

Hopefully EA give us more evolutions so i can make a Mohun Bagan (local Indian club) super team in UT….our new CM Thapa has a crazy evolution already
I’ve actually enjoyed the last 2 games, I don’t think that the big store packs are that much of an issue because when you really look at the details the packs aren’t that good. You can have a good team without buying these packs. The menus in 24 are much much better than 23 in terms of usability but the crashing is an issue. The gameplay in 24 is promising but the defending does feel a little weird at times, other than that tho I don’t really have any complaints
Of course you can have a good team without the packs, in my opinion it ruins the experience if I get a great team a month into the game
@@Vizehin your opinion… I’ve actually been enjoying the game and with the additions of evolutions have made it more fun to use players that would generally be bad. I think it’s dumb making a video like this specially when the game hasn’t even released officially. We haven’t even seen the next few updates to really say if the games bad or not.

@@drpepper9676 i think its dumb releasing a game thats not fuckin finished... the game has sooo many game breaking glitches on pc so thats a whole device u cant play on... on ps it crashes constantly... the shooting is fuckin dogshit... precision shootin doesnt go where u aim... players cant make 5 yard passes consistently... defending is non existent and dont get me started on the gk's... i could keep goin... i went 20-0 manyyyy times last yr and was 6th itw on rivals... i just cant play the game without fuckin wanting to break everything... its just soooo slow and unrealistic despite them tryna make it realistic...there were game breaking bugs last yr but this yr is like last yr but on steroids...
i found defending easier after swapping it to advanced defensive, yeah its difficult to pick up but i feel more in control of it

Defending against the AI on Ultimate Difficulty seems impossible though. Their players just walk through you.
@@raghavsyal6819I play on legendary, can’t get a clean sheet to save my life and end up winning every game 7-4 if I put the difficulty down its 12-0 but I play 10 minute half’s. Any through ball or their player getting the ball on the half way line they just walk to the box and score while the goalkeepers attempt to slide tackle them instead of using their hands. I started a player career mode locked to my player and lost 12-2 and 22-3 playing on slow game speed while stood their letting the AI attempt to defend but now I’ve levelled my pace up I just walk straight through the defence and score 10 goals a game the AI can’t even defend never mind the player I have stuck to fifa 22 since it came out and will be going back again
The passing is absolutely broken unless your using advanced passing…….the casual player CANNOT grasp the passing finishing defending
Hey Vizeh great video as always! Im surprised you havent pointed this new dribbling feature using L1. I mean dribbling is part of the game and i love it too but my point is its absolutely exagerated. Bear in mind the game hasnt even come out yet. Its pretty impossible to defend against and as a result if you are a good player its garanteed you will score and concede at least 4 to 5 goals per game. Again no impact on players fatigue doing skills and dribbling the whole game. How realistic can that be? The game is definitely different but for me so far I find it irritating as everyone is just so focused on dribbling. Even defenders can do it thats insane.😅 Anyway propz man

To be fair to ea evolutions is pretty good and we can do it with more players than i thought we could so for example atleast you could upgrade a player like brownhill or some other Burnley player so that alone is more change than in the last 5 years
Evolutions is amazing, as I say it's the best feature to Ultimate Team since SBCs and FUT Champions in FIFA 17
It's a fantastic feature but it's simply not enough, there needs and definitely should/could be loads more, ea are lazy, money hungry bastards

Seasons is like an online career mode for me, I enjoy it more than the other modes and it hasn't been touched in years. So with the future patches to speed up the game coming soon, average describes it pretty well.
Man it’s so hard to get a game in pro clubs rn it always says match found and never actually start the game and then you get hit with opponents not found try again please and it’s the same process over and over again rinse and repeat
I'm just happy the Siwtch finally got some attention from EA. It's looks so good compared to the past FIFAs.

By far, the version of the game that actually had some kind of WORK done. Kind of wild that they finally came through on pretty much the last year of the console, before the supposed year of the next Switch console.
I like that you said defensive AI is weaker … would make me so upset losing to people with 50+ tackle attempts with only around 5 successful tackles…. They mess up and the game plays defense for them and recovers, so annoying

First game I played of the trial was a guy who had an insane squad already and kept chipping the ball with his keeper and heading it back over and over. I don't have the patience anymore to deal with this game. It will just bore/frustrate me with the same issues within a month
I find it's difficult to find the objectives you've got and it's not obvious where to locate them. sometimes they dont even appear marked. I've also got a red circle with a 1 in my store for a week now but there's nothing to claim. A bit glitchy.
Can anybody tell me if you can finally play career mode and switch to neutral and watch the match. I have always wanted to manage and just watch the game.
Biggest Pro: I really like the gameplay this year. Body checking is massively improved, I always manually defend and I find that body checking actually works this year which is massive for me.
Worst Con: Nike Mad Ready is absolutely gross - literally pay to win behaviour and it's only for people who paid the £99 or got the 10 hour trial (me via GPU) (expires on Friday I believe). What's worse is that the objectives give you 1000xp each + the lat objective gives you 2 85+ players. All for something based on luck if you managed to packed a Nike card or paid at least 50K coins for a card. Madness.
Also, as a Luton fan, I had to buy it this year lol
The xp was a visual glitch didn't get a 1000xp for each objective
they gave us a Nike loan card for 24 games , so every1 can do the objectives using the loan card .

Idk if it's just me but the entire branding being different for every FIFA back in the day is what made it for me. I've been bored to death by this same exact look for years on end. The changes are minimal. This is a multibillion dollar company we're talking about. How hard is it to refresh things a bit.
They don't need to, they have no competition, and they know fans will buy it year after year.
I remember FIFA 12s menu being so cool and then FIFA 13 and 14 shaking it up, then suddenly every fifa has the exact same menu after that

I’m just gagging for iconic teams like in NBA 2K. I want to play as Arsenal invincibles, Man United 1999, Barca 08, Brazil 02. It would be such an easy thing to bring in and would get us older players back into it. I only bought Fifa 23 to test it out on my ps5 and loved that they have so many legends to play with now but I don’t want to have to play ultimate team and grind or pay money to use my favourite players from back in the day.
Second fifa (or easfc) that i wont be buying since fifa 10, and i feel good for it.
Ik if i had it, i would spend way more time on it than i should for the level of enjoyment i would actually have while on the game

I've always been a casual fifa player, but I work 35 hours a week + overtime and go to literally every west brom game home and away, and I just fall behind so quickly with the game these days, in gameplay & teams

NGL, It actually feels like they're putted more efforts in Mobile version (They added more costume features from console one, like choosing numbers for players or choosing long or short shirt, as well as changing progression, wrong positions minuses, and making gameplay feel different - it's less speed-wise, but rather positioning-wise)

I’m liking ultimate team but only for now unfortunately it will be different this time next month. I hope they don’t add more and more cards. I’m still unsure how to get my team so good compared to others

I've had a few occasions with a "ghost" player on the field, I'll be running or passing the ball and it will just stop with nobody around and then start dribbling itself down the field towards my net and it has even tried crossing itself before.... I've noticed it's when the other team gets a red card it is more likely to happen, besides that and the goalkeepers are still dodging some shots to allow goals I've been enjoying it
Every new FIFA game for me (I either pirate it or it’s on game pass) is the same, it’s way too easy and I work my way up the difficulties until I reach a setting where it’s ruthlessly impossible and lose interest. I’m always winning 7-0 or losing 3-0. The whole experience is just trying to find a balanced difficulty. I remember ISS or Pro Evo not having that issue where it seemed pretty fair, every game against a decent opposition was a challenge but i never felt the AI was just arbitrarily f-ing me

I can’t remember which fifa it was but I remember in my career mode one year for some reason Man U never played a full team, I mean literally De Gea, Rooney, and everyone else was just on the bench. Even when I checked the team stats on the Home Screen it would show De Gea with like 2 appearances in th caraboa cup

Hopefully someone can answer this for me. I know nothing about soccer (that alone should indicate my knowledge about the sport just based off what I called it) but I've been meaning to get into a new sports game.
My main game is NBA2K and I only play MyCareer. I don't do any of the online stuff. That being said, I wanna know if FC 24 is worth it from that POV since this game will essentially be my first entry into the series.
Only reason I'm interested in the game now is cause of the anime Blue Lock LMAO. Kinda wanna learn more about the sport and the history behind it now
So many things they still refuse to add or fix... I bet I will still not be able to see the important information as soon as I get an offer for a player. Still no way to check how players grew over seasons statwise and all those things, I want for years as someone only playing the career mode.
As someone thats bought all 3 promo packs it's not fair that i have such a squad before the games even released

I'm a nintendo switch player (don't have any other console and my laptop is shite) so I'm kinda excited for this. Already pre-ordered, and I'm hoping it's gonna be different from the "fifa __ legacy edition" we always have. I get that you can't have the same graphics on the switch cause it's smaller, but I'd atleast like to have more features in the game. Like dynamic potential, switch fifa 23 only has the 5 training slots every week you get to pick who you put it on, which I believe is like fifa 19 and before (?). In general it's horrible playing on switch and I'm hoping fc24 is gonna be atleast a bit more different.

Im actually quite liking it, the gameplay feels kinda refreshing, BUT the one thing i dont like is that they removed the lineups and anthems in the beginning of matches. Takes away the immersion.

I dont like how the other teams ultimate team isnt guaranteed to be shown and can be skipped too easily.. previous fifas you would always know what team your going up against.. also I havent played since 2015 and some of the skill moves I remember dont work anymore so I have to relearn new ones
We have a top 100 pro club team.. we won 116 div 1 titles last year, I just hope they haven't ruined the mode with the new season/playoff format
Passing is most broken with this game. Horrendously bad
Defending is dreadful. All my opponents seem to tackle me every time i cross the half way line no matter how un predictable i am or how skillful my player is. Yet when teams run at me they cut through my midfield like a knife through butter. What do I do???
Hold R1 to press the player with the ball & L2 + □ to slide tackle or slide block when in position to do so. Use ○ for standing tackle.
If you hold the press button right until you make your move it works much better. 👌

I really hope EA finally make a fifa point limit, but as EA are so greedy its just not gonna happen

Vizeh, I work with data science/engineering and I am pretty sure the game doesn’t store all the match data due to the lack of storage that your videogame and cost avoidance over cloud usage. Imagine the amount of data that should be store just after 10 fixtures. I think they are only able to store all this data for the current match because it is probably discarded after game is ended. It would be really cool to see it but it would be impossible to play career mode after some fixtures due to all the data stored locally and it would cost EA a lot of money for them to maintain this data in their cloud, imagine the amount of data for every fifa player out there…
Probably the first EA/FIFA game I’m not gonna buy for nearly 20 years. A few little things here and there which are cool but still essentially the same as FIFA 23.
