Yahushua was experiencing being transformed before the crucifixion. He knew what the immortal body felt like. Being transformed and seen by disciples, as he said he overcame the world. He told John the disciple in the first of the scripture that from henceforth you shall see angels ascending and descending to him, he was being taught, prepped thought his whole ministry , by angels guiding him, all the way to the cross and beyond.

Wait a second I'm confused.. the Bible says that the dead know nothing. Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 the Bible also refers to death as sleep over 27 times in the Bible even Christ himself said when we die we sleep in the grave awaiting for the second coming or the end of the world when the dead shall rice first. How will they rise first if they already rose? Also Elijah wasn't taken up to heaven he was taken away in a whirlwind / tornado because he did not want to go for God wanted him to go.. we know he was still alive because he was writing letters to the King two years later after he was taken away in a world wind.. Even when Lazarus died Jesus said he's sleeping. Remember when Martha came up and said Lord Lord I know you will awaken him on the last day / into the world but can you go and awaken him now?

This speaker needs to look at other Scriptures in order to correct some of his comments. Jesus , in speaking with Nicodemas, said that NO other person has ascended to Heaven but only Jesus Himself.(John 3:13) He is stating that no one but Himself has BODILY gone to Heaven but we know that the Souls of Believers are there ( II Cor 5:8). The speaker said that Elijah didn't DIE but according to Heb 9:27 he WILL die so Elijah will probably be one of the two witnesses that die in the Tribulation and be carried to Heaven then (Rev 11). As for Enoch, he did die later after God took him somewhere else. (See Heb 11:13) In order to get the entire picture. one must "rightly divide" the Scriptures ( II Tim 2:15)

Christ has already come to you, he lives with you if you have the Holy Spirit. If you were not driven into the wilderness after baptism, then you do not have the holy spirit. In the gospel it states that when Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus on the mount, they conversed with each other. Apparently they called each other by names familiar to the disciples. The scripture seem to suggest that the conversation was about Jesus's subsequent demise. It also seem to indicate that one of the main purposes they appeared was to lend their encouragement and support for Jesus's mission to save man. And even if their names weren't mentioned, I believe that the Holy Spirit imparted to them spiritual discernment to identify personalities.

I think people go to heaven or hell immediately after their deaths. NDEs support this, and also the meeting with Jesus, Moses and Elijah and the parable of the rich man and Lazarus. Resurrection in the last day may mean the resurrection of the body. That would mean our souls would return to our old bodies in the judgement day. I don't know. I should believe it since it's in the Bible, but I find it hard... why not just judge everyone right after they die? I'm kinda loss with this matter.

There is a major problem here in that the person that wrote this and we have no idea who that was, was writing in Greek and Jesus spoke Aramaic. In Greek the word for Peter and rock are the same and so this passage makes this wonderful statement Peter equals rock of the church. In Aramaic however there is no such equivalence. No one speaking Aramaic would have understood the very point Jesus is said to have been making. So this Greek was clever enough to come up with this word play to indicate that Peter was the rock totally forgeting that Jesus and his followers would have missed the point. Just another example of christian writers making things up. If we made a list of all the texts that were claimed to be the true story of Jesus , read and believed by early Christians there would be 40-50 gospels instead of 27. It was only in the fourth century that the church father's, based on their own flawed bias that the cannon was settled. Even then various groups of Christians read and believed works not approved by the church, now centered in Rome. So yes christian writers had no problem making things up. That is why so many of Paul's letters were about false doctrine, false according to Paul that is.

You are being silly. The Gospel is NOT understanding Jesus is the Messiah. Matthew 13 proves that... some in the church (calling Him Christ) are saved "wheat/sheep" (sown by God) and some are unsaved "tares/goats" (sown by Satan). Both groups claim Jesus as Lord and Messiah. Secondly, look at Matthew 7:21-23 or Luke 13:23-28, again, both the saved and unsaved in the church call Him Lord... but only the wheat are saved. The Gospel of the Bible is multitudes more than you suggest child, it includes EVERYTHING in the Bible including (wait for it) all of the "closed-up" and "sealed" mysteries only revealed to the Last Saints at the "Time of the End" [Dan 12:8-10] and all of the Great Tribulation events ("signs") that Jesus PROMISED these Last Saints "shall see" [Mat 24:15]... they "shall see ALL these things" [Mat 24:33]. Remember, the Last Saints do not preach until the Seventh Trumpet "begins to sound" [Rev 10:7-11]. Until then we have only see PART of the Gospel. The Jews understood PART of the Gospel, the church understood PART of the Gospel (more than the Jews) but the Last Saints understand ALL of the Biblical mysteries "sealed" until revealed at the 7th Trump. ------------ You must think MUCH deeper if you want to pretend to understand "The Gospel" of the Bible.

More simply: Moses represented those who will be resurrected from the dead; Elijah represented those who will live to see Jesus come and be translated from the earth without experiencing (physical) death. The transfiguration was a miniature of Christ, "coming in His kingdom" (Matt 16:28), i.e. His second advent.
The nonsense in the video about Moses representing "those who die and go to be with the Lord," implies the modern misunderstanding that the spirit lives consciously after death and goes to heaven or hell (or some intermediate place, such as purgatory). These are modern errors, pulled into the Catholic church from Greek philosophy (the immortality of the soul), and carried from there into much of Protestantism.
We have clear Bible evidence (Jude 1:9) that the body of Moses was resurrected. We also know that Elijah and Enoch were translated. In New Testament times, we know that some of the graves were opened at the earthquake during the crucifixion, and those people were resurrected and went with Jesus into heaven, to minister with Him in the heavenly sanctuary. This is confirmed in Revelation 4 and 5.
Everyone else, outside of these groups, must wait until the resurrection.

THESE are the words given to comfort the friends of the sleeping dead: that there will be a resurrection. There is no word here about comforting the friends by telling them that their dear departed are flying around in heaven. This would not be possible anyway, since there must be a judgment first, and this takes place at a specific time before Christ returns, not at the individual point of death.
The firstfruits must be offered first, then comes the harvest. Jesus was the firstfruits, and so a mini-resurrection followed; and the 144000 will be the final firstfruits. Only when they have been offered, will the full resurrection of the righteous take place.

Wait a second I'm confused.. the Bible says that the dead know nothing. Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 the Bible also refers to death as sleep over 27 times in the Bible even Christ himself said when we die we sleep in the grave awaiting for the second coming or the end of the world when the dead shall rice first. How will they rise first if they already rose? Also Elijah wasn't taken up to heaven he was taken away in a whirlwind / tornado because he did not want to go for God wanted him to go.. we know he was still alive because he was writing letters to the King two years later after he was taken away in a world wind.. Even when Lazarus died Jesus said he's sleeping. Remember when Martha came up and said Lord Lord I know you will awaken him on the last day / into the world but can you go and awaken him now?

This speaker needs to look at other Scriptures in order to correct some of his comments. Jesus , in speaking with Nicodemas, said that NO other person has ascended to Heaven but only Jesus Himself.(John 3:13) He is stating that no one but Himself has BODILY gone to Heaven but we know that the Souls of Believers are there ( II Cor 5:8). The speaker said that Elijah didn't DIE but according to Heb 9:27 he WILL die so Elijah will probably be one of the two witnesses that die in the Tribulation and be carried to Heaven then (Rev 11). As for Enoch, he did die later after God took him somewhere else. (See Heb 11:13) In order to get the entire picture. one must "rightly divide" the Scriptures ( II Tim 2:15)

I want to know how Peter knew who Moses Elijah was
In the gospel it states that when Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus on the mount, they conversed with each other. Apparently they called each other by names familiar to the disciples. The scripture seem to suggest that the conversation was about Jesus's subsequent demise. It also seem to indicate that one of the main purposes they appeared was to lend their encouragement and support for Jesus's mission to save man.
And even if their names weren't mentioned, I believe that the Holy Spirit imparted to them spiritual discernment to identify personalities.

Dead people are dead, not alive in heaven or a pagan torture chamber called “hell.” The disciples saw a VISION, of Elijah and Moses in the millennial kingdom in the next EON, eon 4. Christianity does not know about the eons, as the Greek word “aion” was mistranslated as never, world, age, forever, eternal. “Aion” should always be translated EON. Read the Concordant Literal Bible and you will see when we believe in Christ we receive eonian life, not eternal life.
I think people go to heaven or hell immediately after their deaths. NDEs support this, and also the meeting with Jesus, Moses and Elijah and the parable of the rich man and Lazarus.
Resurrection in the last day may mean the resurrection of the body. That would mean our souls would return to our old bodies in the judgement day. I don't know. I should believe it since it's in the Bible, but I find it hard... why not just judge everyone right after they die?

Jesus told Peter that upon this rock which was Himself Christ, He would build His church. Meaning He would build His church because He is the Rock. Christ the Rock.
This verse is how you can tell if a person is Catholic or a Protestant. Catholics believe Jesus is calling Peter the rock. A Protestant understands Jesus is saying what Peter said is the The Rock.
There is a major problem here in that the person that wrote this and we have no idea who that was, was writing in Greek and Jesus spoke Aramaic. In Greek the word for Peter and rock are the same and so this passage makes this wonderful statement Peter equals rock of the church. In Aramaic however there is no such equivalence. No one speaking Aramaic would have understood the very point Jesus is said to have been making. So this Greek was clever enough to come up with this word play to indicate that Peter was the rock totally forgeting that Jesus and his followers would have missed the point. Just another example of christian writers making things up. If we made a list of all the texts that were claimed to be the true story of Jesus , read and believed by early Christians there would be 40-50 gospels instead of 27. It was only in the fourth century that the church father's, based on their own flawed bias that the cannon was settled. Even then various groups of Christians read and believed works not approved by the church, now centered in Rome. So yes christian writers had no problem making things up. That is why so many of Paul's letters were about false doctrine, false according to Paul that is.

You are being silly. The Gospel is NOT understanding Jesus is the Messiah. Matthew 13 proves that... some in the church (calling Him Christ)
are saved "wheat/sheep" (sown by God) and some are unsaved "tares/goats" (sown by Satan). Both groups claim Jesus as Lord and Messiah.
Secondly, look at Matthew 7:21-23 or Luke 13:23-28, again, both the saved and unsaved in the church call Him Lord... but only the wheat are saved.
The Gospel of the Bible is multitudes more than you suggest child, it includes EVERYTHING in the Bible including (wait for it) all of the "closed-up"
and "sealed" mysteries only revealed to the Last Saints at the "Time of the End" [Dan 12:8-10] and all of the Great Tribulation events ("signs") that
Jesus PROMISED these Last Saints "shall see" [Mat 24:15]... they "shall see ALL these things" [Mat 24:33]. Remember, the Last Saints do not
preach until the Seventh Trumpet "begins to sound" [Rev 10:7-11]. Until then we have only see PART of the Gospel.
The Jews understood PART of the Gospel, the church understood PART of the Gospel (more than the Jews)
but the Last Saints understand ALL of the Biblical mysteries "sealed" until revealed at the 7th Trump.
