- In this video, we attend the Speed and Sound Rolling Thunder Dyno Day to put the Stock D15 / D16 on the Dyno again to test what effect our changes had on the power. We dropped the compression ratio and advanced the cam gear to get it to the original timing marks.

They fairly commom here, and there was a factory turbo model, they not safe but really fast modded
@@RisingBoostYT Amazing, they are in Eindhovem. I had a contact in the CR-Z Forum, with one of their friends.
I am ruminating between 2 possible setup:
- a Torqamp in the lovrevs, acting like my CR-Z IMA motor (initially strong then transition away revving up)
- Torqamp as "fake Vtec crossover", to be used only above 5000 rpm (a short burst)
Be weary of those mesh pod filters, there's a multitude of those that choke out forced induction especially the lower end ones. Only ones i trust and use are AEM Dryflow
Hi Dinxsy, very true, my tuner said the same thing, even removed it for tuning. Also they have a metal plate inside that sometimes it can come loose and get sucked into the turbo. I do plan on changing it soon
The real question is: why am I watching this at 2:30 AM ?
No regrets.
Coz at 3AM we have to go bang limiter in the neighborhood, just civic things....
@RisingBoostYT soo true , I'm a civic guy too and I really enjoy your build, all respect for your work greetings from UK
Love watching your videos, keep it up!
Thanks Grgur!
Found your page at the right time! About to build my first d16y7 for boost hell my first civic for that matter
Hi bro, glad you found it helpful, good luck with the build!
How you lower compression ration only changing head gasket?
Hi Lucas, I put a thicker headgasket in, it has the effect of spacing the cylinder head away from the top of the piston, even though it is only about 1mm it has a decent effect on the ratio.
Hi.... I'm doing a similar build to yours. A d15b JDM block with a P08-8 head. I just wanted to know if you could give me a list of modifications I would need to do and a list of all the connectors you used and replaced when you did your DICTATOR ECU. I want to try and DIY my build. But tuning will obviously have to be done outta the garage😂 please If you could help me in anyway I would really appreciate it. Thanks. Keep the VIDs 👍👍
Hi Joaquin, I have a few videos on the wiring process of my build, check my channel, should help you a lot, in short to go turbo you need 255 feul pump, bigger injectors 440cc+ and upgraded clutch. For the dicktator it is a bit more complicated but I do have 2 videos of making my loom on the channel
Can this stock motor make 200hp safe?
Hi, yes, according to the internet, 200-220hp is safe on a Honda Dseries. Some even do 240hp. However, I was running into headgasket issues at 186hp. But it could have been an issue with my motor specifically.
what software is that??
Hi Rudy, are you referring to the dyno software? It is software and dynos by MrTurbo
@@RisingBoostYT yes
There is 0 loads on the cars, 2sec pulls, even the turbo wont spool as it should, its like running second gear.
Good point, the high HP cars did struggle to make over 400KW on the dyno, some guys was expecting a lot more power.
