Craving some of this food right now!!! My top 2 favs were definitely the melon pan and curry pan... not even surprised they're both bread 🍞😂
Melon Pan was always my favorite pan when I lived in Tokyo.
Torture watching this... Great video
Savouring the crispy flavour I like it, prefer the keeping the crispy and soft combo personally but respect your way 😁 Food looks yummy
Bread rock !!! ✌✌
The amount of awesome content that Sarah has been making while simultaneously working at TC is incredible!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🥳
Really appreciate you understand how it can be tough juggling both! 🥺💛
@@seerasan I am enjoying your content so much but please also take good rests when you need them!
Yessss, curry pan. I absolutely love curry pan.
So addictive!! Ingenious dish
Loving the Kimono! Your hair looks gorgeous as well, fit check 10/10! GUILTY! You are NOT alone the crispy outer bits of fresh melon pan are amazing when you peel them off first! ❤🍈🥖
I'm reminded of the Asakusa day you went with Emma and the melon pan place was closed. I'm happy to see you get that melon pan this time around! Love Asakusa street food vids. That curry pan made me salivate! Super yummm!
I still go back to Asakusa now and remember the disappointment that day! First stop is always getting my hands on melon pan, everything else can come after! 😋
Can you share the name of the melon pan store, please?
Good looking with your kimono, good energy. Thanks for the video. 😊
Your videos are improving. It is nice to see you pacing yourself well and taking more time with the delivery. Congrats
What did the dude say? :D
せーらさんは超かわいい!i love melon pan with beer or strong zero and curry pan it's a must have i really love those (like umaibo curry stick ) !
Thank you for the Video ^.^ I'm heading to Tokyo next month for the first time and I'm supper excited to eat all the things!
Oh i fell in love with these strawberries! Asakusa was my first stop in Tokyo and what a cool place.
Wow, that beautiful kimono looks very good on you!
You're definitely doing this right! Love it!
Wow... So viel gutes Essen. Jetzt habe ich Hunger und werde immer neidischer... 😉 Danke für das Video 😊
You are so funny!!!😂😂😂 Very interesting point of view of Asakusa!
Thank you 😁
This Kimono suits you very well and also is very fitting with your eyeshadow 🙂
I can’t believe I missed asakusa and Sensoji when I visited Tokyo. I went right past it when going from Ueno to the Skytree.
One to add to your list for next time! :)
This was so much fun! Let’s do kimono in the summer too at a proper japanese summer festival! ❤
You're so full of happy confident energy in this video. And totally adorable in the kimono too! 😊
Thank you! 🖤✨
Nobody is talking about how she probably knows more about Japan's geography than the inwoners themselves . 👍 The candied strawberries on a stick are quite appealing just to observe, it's so artistic it's almost sinful to eat it! Ramune is pretty much available everywhere now
it surprises me how much Carbs and sugars are used in Japan and yet, have really low diabetes numbers compared to the rest of the world
They really do have a lot of sodium and sugar in the food here, so I do try to cook at home a lot! That said, the meals are more balanced (like teishoku with small bits of everything) so that helps a lot I think.
@@seerasan Would you ever do a home cooking vid at all?
T2 Diabetes is a metabolic disease so it is a mix of various factors, not just diet. The Japanese lifestyle also sees Japanese moving a _lot_ so despite the carb intake, the overall caloric expenditure is typically adequately balanced from the regular physical activity. That said, there are still _numerous_ other factors that contribute to T2 diabetes such as other environmental factors, genetics, other lifestyle habits, food quality, etc.
T2 Diabetes isn't _caused_ by poor diet, but poor diet (and lifestyle habits) definitely aggravates it and triggers symptoms
_(T1 Diabetes is an autoimmune disease and its incidence has nothing to do with diet - the other 12+ types of diabetes are also unrelated to diet)_
I do agree that the carb intake is seemingly high - I'm still pretty surprised at how fit and slim Japanese typically are, as their overall carb intake is indeed pretty high! But it is often accompanied by a bunch of quality proteins, fats and most importantly fiber - so despite the seemingly high carb intake, everything is balanced out!
I had matcha soft serve in a cone at a side store there and it was lovely!
Like a lot of the other comments here, the candid, uncut, pop bottle scene was priceless!
I'm guessing the soda vendor is old school and not used to seeing a young lady impeccably dressed in a kimono politely order a soda and then proceed to slam said soda bottle with a karate palm strike. That was hilarious! A blood curdling karate "kiai!" just before the palm strike and seeing how many people turn around to look would have been interesting.
Why is there stretchy cheese in everything in Tokyo (also referring to the Tokyo Creative vids)? Not that gooey cheese is ever a bad thing. But I thought everything had corn and mayo, or is that in Sapporo? Not that there is anything wrong with either corn or mayo either. I would eat corn with gooey cheese and mayo in a meronpan...
Frohe Ostern aus Schweden! 🐥
Awesome vid !!
We're in asakusa right now near the senso ji... And we will try everithing in this video 😎👍🏻thx
Thank you for your video. You should go to Utsunomiya, because it's the main shinkansen stop in Tochigi. Tochigi does some serious advertising for their strawberries up here in Iwate with their crazy strawberry king mascot posters, and that alone is somewhat interesting. Utsunomiya is also known for gyoza, and who doesn't love gyoza? It's interesting to me because I know I'll be returning to Tokyo via shinkansen someday in the future, it's accessible, and could prove to be an interesting stop along the way.
I've actually been before with friends on a road trip to get a dose of local gyoza! I definitely have eaten their strawberries from my local supermarket in Tokyo, but maybe I need to go pick them there next time!
(furiously taking notes for my trip in the fall while trying not to drool) 🤤
Curry anything is always delish!
Never tried a curry pan but that looked really good! Will have to try one when I finally visit Japan
One for the Japan bakery bucket list!
Not sure if you’ve been to Saza Coffee in Ibaraki (8-18 Kyoeicho, Hitachinaka - 0.4mile from East exit of Katsuta Eki), but one of my favorite meals in Japan was their Pork Stew Set (includes a delicious side salad and my favorite baguette in Japan). I also had Marron cake with coffee which was something special.
They also have locations around Tokyo, etc., but Hitachinaka is their main/OG location. And for your German connection, their roasting techniques/machines were taken/purchased from a coffee roasting company that originated in Emmerich, Germany in 1868.
You should come visit Oizumi Gakuen we have great street food and the burger place from Your Lie in April!
I went to Sensoji temple at 7h30 on my second or third day in Tokyo and it was amazing. Came back on my last day in Japan around noon and I couldn't walk because it was crowded as f... Definitely recommend going in the morning, although it means missing on the snacks...
浅草観光センターの上行ったことなかったから景色見れて激アツ!
次行ってみるね😉
I love your kimono. It is beautiful, understated, and suits you very well.
I was there this morning 😮
Next nice Video.
Melon pan is my favorite and fresh from the oven and crispy is the best.
I love this video
Looking fabulous . Hope to find you doing well. Great job on the bottle. Have Fun. Stay Safe. ❤😊
😍 Melon Bread 😍 And I confess, I peel off the crust of the bread too xD
YES! Team peeling off the crust 🔥
Epic thumbnail 👌 ❤
Greetings from korea 🇰🇷 😊❤
Asakusa is always so crowded 😅
Glad i went at night
I just arrived and bought melon pan on the first trip to family mart 😀😀😀
You are absolutely gorgeous. So beautiful!
Looking cute in a yukata
I think I love your make up, makes you very cool!
how profound the eye.beautiful.
Most definitely not a weird way to eat bread. Its like "how do you eat your creme egg". I feel like if i could eat bread, id be picking bits off too.
The trick to keeping senbei fresh is to put it in an air-tight bag with a desiccant. (have to be a food-grade one).
Asakusa is my hometown. Now I am living California no go back japan many years. I recall my lovely town.
Glad to see you really enjoyed the food. Does it taste better in a kimono?
For sure! 😉
IT is cute that she thinks people wants to take pic with her because of the yukata, no love is because you a gorgeous no matter what you are wearing.
Now I need some food ;) Are there restaurant ships on the waterways in Tokyo, like for dinner or to have a coffee in the afternoon?
So much bread in one day! 🥖 😮
I was just there at the end of December beginning of January 😊
Embrace the weird!
Love the traditional hair decoration.
I'd like to know if Japan has huge shopping centres or malls like you see in western countries and if so how they differ 😮
👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What did he say that was inappopriate? 😅 Another amazing upload, thank you!
She said “I want to do it! I want to do it!” and then he was like “You want to ‘do it’? Damn, you’re pretty perverted for a lady!”
I'd like to know too 😅
She said I want to do it, and he said Its indecent
She said "I want to do it, I want to do it".
And he repeated what she said and said that she is perverted for saying that as a woman.
@@notuxnobux - Can you post what he said in the actual Japanese? I’m studying the language, but I’m nowhere near the point that I can understand someone speaking quickly. I’d like to read his statement, to really pick out the nuance of what he said. How the Japanese language reflects their mores is interesting to me, and even just the pronoun-dissolving sentence constructions are neat to look at, plus idiomatic Japanese - spoken as it’s actually employed - is useful to look at. ありがとうございます!!
Is that your own kimono or did you rent it? Very pretty. Were you wearing the traditional sandals also? Thanks dango girl!
I rented it! Lots of rental shops in Asakusa.
Sadly my shoes here are just normal trainers because I have a bad knee and the geta (traditional sandals) don't provide enough support for me walking around!
you are so beautiful its only natural many wants to have pictures with you ♥♥♥ i wish someday i can have a picture with you too but kinda hard to achieve due to "anooo" financial difficulties hahaha ^_^
Hey, just asking, do you recomen going to japan in this season? Ive heard that it is PACKED everywhere in april.
why are you so god damn pretty >:\
ラムネ屋の店員ヤバいwヤクザだろ
🙏 will there be a kanamara video?

サラサンさんの着物姿はとても美しいです。 ❤️👍🇦🇺👘🇯🇵👍❤️
Are you still there? I just arrived today 😃 got super lost trying to find my hotel 😩
Anyone know what the guy said to make her blush?
This might be a dumb question but when you go inside to eat melon pan are you required to take your shoes off?
For the upstairs seating we did take off our shoes cause they had tatami mats! :)
😆
What is the name of the melon pan place?
Strawberries are already so sweet. I don't know why you'd glaze them in sugar.
Because they don’t open till 10-11am dont these street food places lose a lot of business, is opening mid morning normal for shops and stores in Japan?
Pretty common here! Things are open quite late a lot of the time, like 8~9pm!
(not really street food though)
i want to visit but my travel date falls around sanja matsuri and i am imagining it is gonna be pure chaos for several days
Ooft yeah that might be a bit hectic! Would be a cool experience to see the matsuri though!
I need a friggin' GPS unit just to find my way out of her eyes. 😳
@lessief55 you need a frigging GPS unit well off course you dammmme well do..
Her eyes are unnaturally magnetic And and she's jawdroppingly beautifulest, outstandingly sexy and mystifiyingly gorgeous..
🌸🎐🪻🫧☁️🍡🍓👘🧋
He said something inappropriate and awkward 😉
people want pics with you 'cause you're obviously a couple of cuties.
This is the worst kind of video to watch between meals. I WANT TO EAT IT ALL, ESPECIALLY THE BREAD! Also, I definitely take off the crunchy parts of food and eat them just on their own for that big chronch
Creepy old guy running the soda stand 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🫠
You speak Japanese like a local, but why you pronounce Ramune with R sound, when it's L sound.
U look pretty.....XD
Overpriced food.....
Prices are naturally a little bit higher, as it's a tourist area, butl it's not expensive. Definitely worth it for a fun experience, and snack.
If it tastes good, it's worth trying. It's good to see people are coming back to Asakusa. It used to be a quite place except for new year days.
