Mewtwo was only really one until the end of the first pokemon movie, dedede stopped being a villain around the dark matter saga of kirby games. Wario additionally isn't really a villain, I'm pretty sure they were just done because the options would be kinda limited otherwise

I love squad strike, easily my favorite new mode. Just an idea for this series, I call it "legacy smash" it'd be a 6 battles, 5 3v3's and one 5v5. The first battles each represent a smash game. Battle one is smash64 characters only, battle 2 is characters who were introduced in melee such as Falco and Marth, battle 3 is brawl new characters only such as meta knight and sonic, and so on. The final battle is a 5 v 5 and you must use one character from each game

As with most good hero-villain matchups, the hero won as much by his own skill as by the villain's painfully obvious blunders. And also by Kirby just casually being an OP god slayer.
