Hi Greg, we didn't detect that spot, there are very limited tracks where we were detecting, we often just explore areas until we find ground that we like before detecting, we had no idea what was on the other side of the hill :)

Mid year is best to go, i have been anywhere from june to August, starts getting hot mid August.
