What Amitsha said is right in the parliament. NDMA has frequently issue message like this to the commons people as sms also as a disaster warning system. The state government has not taken any prequationary measures. Below is a message NDMA few hours before rain at here. Moderate to Heavy Rain/ thunderstorm accompained with lightning/ intense to very intense spell is very likely to occur at a few places over Almora, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Pauri Garhwal, Rudra Prayag, Tehri Garhwal in next 3 hours.
Without finding out facts don't spread fake propaganda. For your kind information the Meteorological Department didn't issue red alert nor did GSI give any information regarding chances of massive landslide. It's a pity HM is playing dirty politics during such a crisis.
