the thing with blameF's opening kill stats is that, if you use a piece of software like Skybox, you can filter it to check against which buys he makes the most opening kills and the disparity between opening kill attempt % between him against full ecos vs him against full buys is ridiculous, he has almost 40% attempts vs ecos and sub 20% vs full buys
Former teammates of blame also has Said in interviews that BlameF was definitely stat hungry
If you knew anything about team based CS you'd just see blameF's baiting and selfish plays instantly. They weren't even mistakes, he was doing it delibirately. RL just wants to push his narrative. It's obvious he didn't come to the blameF defence with gameplay and teamwork nuance. He just looked at stats and decided blameF was to be defended from "reddit". Nothing will change his mind. Not logic nor facts. Just like the whole cheating situation thing

Is the stuff at the beginning about Jabbi/stavn/dev1ce wanting BlameF out something you've actually heard behind the scenes or is that just a possible explanation for why they played poorly that you've thrown out? If there's any substance that seems like a MUCH bigger story than where BlameF lands, but I also don't see you as the kind of person who would throw out random unsubstantiated claims out there given your line of work.
I haven't been keeping up with the pro CS2 scene thanks to the Saudis so I had some serious whiplash when I saw Bodyy on that fucking Fnatic roster. Dear merciful god, why?

When I watched that tournament before they benched blameF, device missed so many easy shots I remember thinking either he's really ill or they want blame gone.
I think blame is t1 quality as a lurk/rifler, but not many teams at the highest level (and assume he wouldn't go to a cis team either) need one. Faze, mouz, vitality, liquid, heroic? No. G2 maybe, navi maybe but think they'd try to rework simple in before buying someone. I think col would have worked but can see how both sides previous experience would count against him.
He's better than fnatic but no room at the inn elsewhere.

blameF's problem as a player has been painfully obvious since the Complexity days. It's been somewhat camouflaged to analysts by his terrible IGLing, but ironically plebs who know nothing about the strategic aspects of the game can see it clear as day. Probably because it's easy to see and understand when blameF blatantly baits, hard lurks, and farms eco frags but hard to see and understand when blameF calls Complexity into a grave with mistimed gamble stacks or late no-info site hits.
It's undeniable that blameF is a baiter. In fact, didn't you literally equate him to Happy? I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure, or maybe it was another analyst. More advanced statistics on eco frags, opening by types, etc. clearly portray him as an eco farmer who hard lurks in gun rounds.
As for HLTV stats, there's a big rule of thumb that I think many people should adopt. Statistics do not lie, but they never tell the whole story. That's why you need an eye test. There's also fundamental misunderstandings about what HLTV's statistics are stating, the most common one I see being the conflation of opening percentage with entry percentage. An entry kill and an opening kill are not the same and have never been the same. As stated before, it also doesn’t say take into account what type of opening and on what kind of round. Which is where more advanced statistics and the eye test come in.
Frankly, I think you're letting your view of blameF as a person cloud your judgement of him as a player. Thinking the move to fnatic is bad or that he was snaked are pretty clear examples. Was Astralis ready to move on from blameF? Yeah, but that was clearly the right move then and now. blameF knew he was out if he didn't perform and then he flopped so he got kicked. You can easily argue a better player should've stepped up and made a statement when their position was on the line.
As for the fnatic move, what team should blameF be on if not fnatic? It's a team with low expectations, plenty of room for him to figure out his style, and still a decent enough team to consistently stay in Tier 2. This is the exact type of team that a player who is in a rut like blameF needs. You put him in a team like Vitality and he's going to be mezii 2.0, no? He's not like jks, who has cemented himself as a great roleplayer anchor with a high floor and decent ceiling. What is blameF? A pseudo-star hard lurker who doesn't know whether he wants to do strats or click heads. I don't know what team better than fnatic would benefit from blameF (overall, not just in pure firepower) or would benefit blameF. blameF's stock and his personal belief in himself is an all-time low. Doesn't he need a place to build it back up? Imagine if he puts up MOUZ frozen numbers and just anchors fnatic as a Top 15 team. Even without any trophies, it would be a massive win for blameF and paves the way for a Top 5 team to pick him up.
Interesting strategy, in order to avoid being featured on you speak your brain you decided to fill the page with verbal diarrhea hoping it would be too long for RL to read it all out in a single stream.

@@RLewisReports I think some people don't realise the amount of time it takes to record and edit the video and that you didn't just finish recording the second the upload goes live, and I'm sure people don't all realise when videos are clipped from stream, so it's probably an honest misunderstanding on their part

Problem I have here Richard is towards the start you talk about players playing specifically to improve their stats. Friberg literally did an interview with Th0rin where he said on their team together Blame played in a way to boost his stats. You can look it up easily
Richard do you really believe that Dev1ce, Stavn AND Jabbi all deliberately failed to qualify to the first ever major in their own country just to get rid of BlameF like you said at 08:51 ? 3 top competitors in the scene don't care about playing the first ever CS2 major and played badly on purpose just to fuck BlameF. Thats a crazy opinion to be throwing around without evidence, especially when you see Stavn and Jabbi's return to form was after the roles were swapped around to allow them to play where they wanted to. BlameF getting kicked is entirely the fault of the Astralis GM, who hired a player to IGL despite the fact everyone knows BlameF is not a top IGL regardless of how good he is as a rifler.

Complexity went badly as a project cause BlameF is a dogshit IGL, and signing JKS was a bad move when BlameF was already playing in most of his T side positions. That being said JKS is the only player from any iteration of the juggernaut lineup to have won a tier 1 trophy since they disbanded, with 4 in his cabinet since then, and 0 in BlameF's, either as an IGL or as a star player playing under the alleged GOAT IGL Gla1ve. Makes you think at least a little bit right?

It all depends on what fnatic actually end up doing but my understanding is that the thing about marking their intentions to the market implies BlameF won't be the only player they are looking to sign but before BlameF there was 0 reason for better players to come to Fnatic so they needed to start with Blame so the team becomes slightly more attractive.
Btw stats wise Afro has been pretty darn bad especially for being an AWPer (who requires more resources than a fragger) and Matys has actually looked the best before BlameF but obv thats against tier 3 opposition so its unclear if he can stand up against tier 1 players. Still he's probably worth giving a shot unlike Afro who desperatly needs to be swapped out.
I do think the Cadian move would be the ultimate move for fnatic (although not for Cadian lol), he could truly bring a new system and identity to the team.
Without staying up to date, when he Cadian was kicked from Heroic, I legit thought Blame would go there. He is way to good for Fnatic
i think expecting them to finish top 4 in the CCT event is pretty unreasonable, they had just signed blameF before that event started so there is a pretty low chance of them having any practice.

As a fnatic fan, you are spot on with most of the stuff you bring up here. However, it is worth pointing out that Afro is 0.88 on LAN since Bodyy was brought in (for french synergy with afro). Worst rating of any non-igl out there (even Kyuubi was better...). And actively keeping fraud Roej to instead kick Nicoodoz and bring in Afro was RossR's first big move...
Honestly completely forgot Fnatic was still in CS until now, very sad that they went from the best org in CS to a graveyard
