This is sick! Thanks for showing your process!
Thanks for watching! 😁

Lil pitchy with MPM be a serious collab
You know what, I don't know why Professionals don't do shit like this - like they're scared normal humans will take away their secrets but the TRUTH is this can't be done without TALENT, PERSEVERANCE, HARDWORK and EXPERIENCE !
GREAT QUALITY CONTENT for MUSIC PRODUCERS !
There's a lot of snobbery in the production community from what I hear.
Y'know, sometimes it *doesn't* take hard work, some people just have a knack for this.
Bro...that electric piano already sounds like a full song already. It sounds very good!
What's important to me is that he enjoys how it sounds as it plays. How he bobs his head back and forth and makes hand gestures while at it. Loving the craft!
I appreciate this comment so much. I do genuinely love what I do ❤️
@@MakePopMusic OMG I DID NOT EXPECT YOU TO REPLY TO MY COMMENT AT ALL. Thanks for all the tips you throw publicly, it does a lot for me as I go!
This channel is the the best. Love the make pop music community to. Thanks a million for all this Austin!
Love it! Such a helpful video once again from a really talented individual.
I personally love to learn from you.
Great sounds man, much respect for giving people quality tools to work with🙌
As always, so solid. Thanks for these great vids.
Austin you you!!! wonderful tutorial again, love the track a lot!! greetz from Amsterdam!
Thanks so much for the vid man !
I love finding out that you’ve produced songs that I loved before even finding your channel and starting to produce. I loved In Between by Greyson Gibson for years so watching you pull up the project on a past video was a crazy “wait really?!” moment. And now you’ve collabed with RILEY? So talented, awesome work as always!
Hahaha thank you so much! Hopefully more of that coming very soon!
Fantastic content, maybe I'll finally be able to make my song! Thank you!
Bangerrrrrr! Excited to watch this!
Another VERY helpful tutorial… you’re a talented man Austen! 👏🏻
Thanks man. This is so good & very informative
I just found RILEY a bit ago and have been jamming. Cool to see this
Sick. I’ve been listening to this album for a few weeks now.
I just like how you release the best video at the right time,...I was just abt to search on the content of this video b4 I found it...lol
SOUNDS SO GOOD AUSTIN 🔥🧨
you manage to build that wall of sound without losing the little nuances. great stuff as always, king!
Thank you!
Yeah thats the magic. Gonna tack on a million drum layers and they are all playing a role. Maybe for energy, maybe for vibe, maybe for presence but it all works. Austin and my mix engineer are very similar. They find the DNA of the song. Its this mix of creativity and analytical assessment. Its awesome to witness.
@@mjk5254 Bingo! I always say the actual SONG arrangement should be simple. Then it's about little things that are felt, and add space and vibe!
WOW !!
Man that key sounds 😍😍
Amazing tutorial like always
Really really ........ love and enjoy your videos.
Fire!!!!!❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Love your videos! 🔥
Austin good job good video. I love your wrk
Yeh... Austin is back again! 😄
Thanks bro!
Making miracles come to life! Dang that was impressive
Dope!
Your such an inspiration dude! Super talented. Incredible walkthrough dude! I’m trying to do this myself. Sub’d
Awesome video! Also.. if you press option(alt)+shift+click anywhere in Cubase you can locate anywhere on the timeline instead of trying to scrub from the top bar!
Hey Austin, awesome to see how you start your songs! I come across so many different information online regarding producing and mixing your own music. Do you produce and mix in the same project? If so, do u always use a template when you start your songs?
You do great work bud
Great video
This dude is like...super talented!
sick!
AUSTIN YOUR DOPE BRUH
I love these videos. I've watched more of you than anyone else on RUclips this past month.
I'd really like if you could slow down a bit when showing your FX Chains to explain a bit more of the "why" behind decisions you've made. There's a lot of teaching opportunities in there I think.
This is so good! Can you try making a HyperPop song?
I love you austin💞
Back at ya big dawg!
Man, would you ever be so kind enough to actally share the actual backup project of this? i know i am asking for alot but it would help out sooo much to understand the mixing process better. Thanks for this though! doing God's work \m/
Unfortunately I'm not able to give out stems, multis, or session files for projects I produce for artists since they own the masters and copyrights.
Hey austen, I'm thinking of getting your mixing and mastering course. But i think you have already much content related to it on youtube. Is there anything special in that course which isn't on your youtube? Should I go for it?
Can you do a song like Issues?
Thanks for this helpful insight in your workflow! I was just wondering why you don't use Reverb as a Send Effect for some of the Synths and Drum elements. Thereby I also mean using the very same RVB for multiple instruments. Wouldn't this be easier and better for the CPU?
I’m never in need to save CPU and I like different synths and percs being in different areas. I’m able to use ALL space my just using reverb and delay inserts on drums, guitars, and synths
I recognised the "your ghost" instrumental the moment it started
Hahaha love that!!!
spring sale announcement on april 1st. hmm. caught me off guard at first lol
I swear it’s no joke 😂😂
Awsome as always, wanted to ask in your Mastering Mixing course, do you explain how to mix to Mastering, Mastering included??
I kind of “master” as I mix but you see every step of the process from organizing the session to bouncing the final!
Yeah a deep dive master course would be 😍
I dunno, but by far, this is the best n easy-to-follow kinda tutorial by you imo. Nice. Thank u so much🥲👍🏼
My guitar rig 5 is on demo version even tho I own it.
When are we getting a tutorial for sad indie songs !? 🙃
I need these presets. where can I buy?
Dude, making me hungry with that english muffin on the desk. Love the vid my bro.
A muffin?! 😂 maybe you’re seeing a crystal. I don’t have any muffins in the studio 😂😂😂
@@MakePopMusic dang, the more I look at it, it does look like a crystal. 😂.
@@MakePopMusic much love for the content yo 🙇🏼
can I ask what chopped and screwed vocals are? I always thought they were actually chopped up vocals, but in this song it just sounds like pitch shifted vocals with autopan?
How much do you charge for the various parts of your process? Track creation/mixing & mastering?
bro..... Is it possible to produce music only headphones?
Where are you searching for drums percussion loops?
I make most of the ones I use from samples we have created with Make Pop Music, use loops from our packs on our website, or I find them from Splice.
@@MakePopMusic thanks for your reply, keep up doing a great job, I learned a lot from your videos!❤️
Synth chord rhythm sound like the 1975 vibe
7:00 what guitar is that?
Fender Strat Pro! 😁
You did a good job and like what you do, but for me less is more and feel it's a bit overdone. I like the synths at around 6.10, then the added drums at around 7.30 and then the bass around 9.10 and 9.52.
"let's hop into the session"!? .. I thought we always hoped into the daw
HOW TO PRODDUCE A POP SONG:
I V vi IV , Borrow from the 6th or the 3rd of M or m
end video.
Your name and his name = Braves third baseman
vocal sounds over processed, i wanna hear the singers real voice. was that your decision or his? the rest sounds great, now you just need a great song;-)
Vocals were sent tuned and processed but I personally love the stylistic choice from Riley 😁
What DAW do you use.??
Cubase 12 Pro!!
@@MakePopMusic Thanks,, question what do you think about FL studio or do you already have a DAW review.
Next video coul be: "How to produce a poop song"... because everyone deserves to be published :D
Accidentally published a video with “Make Poop Music” once In the title and it became our biggest video to date 😂
