I love watching this video so much! I never thought I would get to see my great-grandparents do their world famous act, so I'm really excited this video exists! My great-grandparents are Melba Moore (the beautiful lady in the glittery dress) and John Calvin Moore (the handsome blond who helps her put on her blindfold)!
Nice to see a different side to you! Way too young to have seen it the first time, but thankyou for giving me the chance. Im going to show this to my grandfather, he will enjoy also! Now, back to practice...practice...
@Rome41jm It does bring back memories for me as well. Those were the care-free-run-away-with-the-circus days. We were traveling with the Horace Heidt show doing one-nighters all over the country. (You probably remember the name.)
The show was live. No Video tape. About 40 years ago a friend was able to find a kinescope, black and white copy for me. I copied my part of the show. The rest is gone. I doubt that kinescopes are still available, but I guest you could write to WFIL and ask.

Loved watching this show in the early 1950's. I was at the TV every Saturday at noon to enjoy it.
Just incredible!
