I've been looking forward to this all week! What will those parts be that you will make molds for? Can you tell, or will this be a secret until the project comes along?
Hi Vincent, Thanks for watching. The new mold is a project were my friends are starting a design patent before I can say anything. It isn't train related, but soon I would like to start something in that area!
I haven’t been using it unfortunately, the needs of the product line changed. I bet the bag sealer would hold up over time though. Thanks for the follow up
I don't sell anything yet. I plan to start this year. I am going to sell end mill organization molded storage blocks and probably some model train stuff too. Pls stay tuned to see!
@@MetrologyEngineer Hi Adam, yes bolts were for testing. I agree with you about environment impact. The parts that I will bag with this machine (day job) are medical devices, so they have a highly regulated waste control; ultra high temp incinerator that turns the plastic, and biohazard, into CO2 and water. ( better than the methane that made the plastic) My own products will be packages in paper products.

Nice, roughly what does a small aluminum mold base run cost-wise, say the 8x8”? No prices on their website.
Probably ~$1200. The mold bases in the video were ~$2500. QC-10 alum. Thanks for watching
@@DragonflyEngineering Thanks! Your videos are very much appreciated.
Hi, allow me some question please... after 2 years, how did the machine go? Also, do you need to change the belt every some time?

@@DragonflyEngineering I'm staying tuned, that sounds like an interesting venture. :)
Why bag bolts one a time?
Just for testing the machine. He makes injection molded plastic parts.
@@bkoholliston Ow I see. I like things made of plastic but it also kills me to see the impact plastic has on the environment.
Have you never been to Home Depot or Lowe's? LOL
@@rsp6549 I go to either one at least once a week.
