@@IloveHamberger I do! I have a replica I made, and a better one that was given to me as a gift. Both of them have the full version of that Van Halen demo that Marty plays to scare George.
@@fanofretrotechnology3802 I meant I have 3 of these TPS-L2s. This video is me. Lol. Propsmith is my second channel. But yes, I have more cassette players. Haha
hi, the author can please tell me how you like sony mdr 7а headphones. do they have good low frequencies? and how is the sound quality in principle? and do others hear the music? if you listen to these headphones at high volume
@@Thugster19 Actually, it depends on when you look. They tend to fluctuate. The one I featured mostly in this video was only $250, since I got in from a good auction. The other two were $420 each, but had been purchased years prior. Ebay is the best place to check. You can still find some for under $500.
Ebay is gonna be your best friend when it comes to these. It's where I got the 3 players featured in this video. Headphones, if you're on a budget, go with the Xcoser replicas I mention in the video.
Hi, Cool video! Interesting bit on the Star-Lord headphones. Do you know of anyone in the US that refurbishes the TPS-L2? My collection: Not working Guys and Dolls with the 'Japanese Walking Stereo with Hotline' sticker on the tape window SN 30xxx Internals - missing motor - probable Guys and Dolls, SN 20xxx, metal SN sticker - (Someone is probably walking around with a newer TPS-L2 with a Guys and Dolls case) Refurbished TPS-L2 SN 87xxx Stereo Logo - Lower Front 'Walking Stereo with Hotline' sticker - Gen 1 internals - Original, working MDR 3L2 headphones Refurbished TPS-L2 SN 105xxx - Stereo Logo - Original, working MDR 3L2 headphones Refurbished TPS-L2 SN 236xxx Walkman Logo - Original, working MDR 3L2 headphones Refurbished TPS-L2 SN 466xxx Walkman Logo - Original, working MDR 3L2 headphones Refurbished TPS-L2 WM3 Metal (Black Case) Walkman WM1 (Signed by Alan Hunter, Mark Goodman and Down Town Julie Brown - Original MTV VJs) WalkmanII
What kind of work do you need done on them? Most refurbish-ers have specialties. Luckily the work on all of mine was very light, moistly just needing belt replacements and wiring work. However, the motor on my first has totally frozen and I need to replace it.
Could you do one on the Zune for the heck of it. Really liked this vid
Great video! Keep up the good work it was interesting and well informed!
My walkman collection includes the TPS L-2, wm dd22, walkman 2, wm ex 606, and the wm 4
I currently have these 3, the WM-10, a WM-EX600, a WM-FM100, a WM-F11D, and a TCM-2. I also have an Aiwa HS-P7 for Marty McFly cosplays.
@@MatchstickMan nice, you got some Van Halen to go with the BTTF AIWA players?
