Thanks Jeremy for always taking care of our Kenyan community in Kenya and in diaspora. The family is in need of help and we hope that they will get the help they need. It’s such a challenging situation for them. Can’t fail to give accolades to the young man. He has been there for his entire family despite the challenge. He has been an inspiration to many. Can’t fail to acknowledge his Kikuyu speaking abilities given how young he was when he relocated to the US. Accolades to the parents and the community too for fostering the language. I’d suggest you redo the story in English to reach out to a larger audience and creating a go fund me account. I know the plan is to relocate them to Kenya given their current situation, but with the current state of health care system in Kenya, that would be a disservice to them. They can’t get the kind of treatment that they are receiving here and the insurance or cost for anything closer to what they are getting here would be monstrous. If anything, they can even get free treatment here-even without the insurance.
Thanks JD can we also ask for prayers for this family because some attacks are not normal and the devil is a lair. My prayers for healing for all in Jesus Christ Mighty Name Amen 📖✝️🛐🔥🔥🙏🏽🏹🏹
The family needs deliverance, what they are going through is not normal. Life is spiritual. God bless the son for devoting his all to care for his family.
They raised an amazing son. He's very compassionate and can speak good kikuyu unlike most kids these days. Even those born and raised in Kenya can't speak kikuyu that well. With all that said, let's support this family, it must be very dehumanizing to get to the point where you can't help yourself. They've been through too much.
JD kindly consider the father ako ICU here in kenya to be in ICU you need to have good cash so i would suggest wakae huko tu for sometime untill their improve their health
It would be nice if they could stay, but the load is too much on the young man. If they left, he’d be able to even downsize by maybe selling the house & focus more on paying for caregiving.
Have this couple been considered for disability benefits or put on Medicare benefits due to medical disability . I think 🤔 they would be better off here.. through the federal Medicare, state Medicaid and social security disability benefits. I’m sure they qualify for government assistance for they have been here for more than twenty years. Please 🙏🏽 don’t let them go home where things are so chaotic…!!! They need to consult a caseworker from their care provider to help this young man with the burden of taking care of his parents while he is at work. There is a better system here that can help them. They have been tax payers, social security contributors and Medicare beneficiaries….!!! PLEASE 🙏🏽 GO TO THE SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICE NEAR YOU…!!!
Hi Jeremy! Ben is doing such a marvelous and commendable job assisting his ailing parents. God will pay him back abundantly. He seems to have been raised well. My thinking is we can help this family to stay put in their home in Atlanta since healthcare there is much better than being in Kenya. I am talking through my own experience since relocating back in Kenya in Oct 2021. I am retired and have gone through a few medical procedures in Kenya. The prices are through the roof. The drugs are very expensive and mostly unavailable. They are definitely much better in the U.S
Not only you, many do it,I have done it too but again each time his community men are here on comments section bashing and attacking like we are intrusive 😢, tribalism will not take us anywhere 😢😴😴

His burdens must be eased. This story is very touching...even my Sahara dry eyes almost welled up! Keep up that spirit Ben, and I wish the best to the rest of the family.
Very sad indeed. For the Kenyans in Georgia who are in Healthcare and Social Services, please help this family navigate and exhaust their options here first. Hospitalization in Kenya will be very expensive. Also, transporting an immobile patient will require special “medi-transport” approved by the airline. Costs to Kenya for the medi-transport start at around $8,500 at the lowest end, to almost $15K for some companies.

Is there someone from medical field anaeweza kutueleza, haya ni marathi au ugonjwa gani, by name. Infact, Jeremy anaeza kuwapigia simu, na son ampe jina. Pia, tuna Profesional Nurses wengi from Kenya, who can chip in, na kupatia mawaitha katha wa katha kuhusu one... or the other etc. But, tutambue pia, kuna privacy. Na hii family yetu, wangependa ku maintain as well. In that case, silazima wapeane details or jina. Na tutosheke.
Taking them back home while they are still a live is the best option that’s why I always tell people being diaspora doesn’t mean you forsake developing your own country what people do back home can help them in the time of need when no one can help u people will always cherish you when they can get something out of you but once it’s done you will never see them even close family members you have helped that time you become a. nuisance to them. Big Lesson to learn but may the Lord intervene in this situation
Someone well versed in a universal language can give a summary of the whole story. All of us are gifted differently. You may assist others to financially contribute towards this desperate situation by helping them understand what the family is going through.
Isn't there facilities as we know like long term care homes at least for mom and to ease this young man's burdens? Maybe I'm wrong but thank goodness to the Canadian system of free healthcare

If they are permanent residents. They need to be taken care of in Georgia because they have paid into the system. I think there is a way they can go to a skilled nursing home. They will get quality care and the young man can visit them. The sister too needs to into the place that can help.
Coming back to Kenya is no good. Medical here is expensive. Better get another solution. Probably help them with bills and maybe get someone who can help the young man with the parents
These are people from my home Mary taught us star Cadette, and the husband was a pastor, and they won green card, just after they lost their son.😢😢😢😢😢 I feel so bad I thought about them recently They were very humble people
I would suggest they apply for county assistance. They will send a social worker to evaluate or enroll in an assistance program or connect with a nonprofit. Like rent or medical. In my state we have the program. There is also state workforce program for training and support. Blessings
That's exactly what I wanted to comment hapo mbeleni. But, nikaona nisikize kwanza. Inafaa msaada uwe kila mara. Please, again and again and again. Wakenya please, siku zote tunaangalia majuu, as if huko hakuna shida. Shida ziko huko pia. Please fanyeni, huu ni wakati wenu wa kuregesha mkono. Tena ni kuregesha mkono kwa kazi noble sana. Ya kusaidia hii family. Imagine it's so traumatizing, hata sister ya kijana yuko hapo; lakini ameshindwa kujitokeza. Sis and daughter yetu, nakuombea upate nguvu, siku moja ujitokeze as well. // Lakini, la muhimu, usijikimbize. Ngoja tu mpaka uwe immotionally ready. Hata kama ni in the next ten years or more, tunawapenda, na tutangoja. And then, pia unaeza kujitokeza km umejifunikia leso (or scarf), kikwetu. Hatuko wageni na kujisitiri, kwa kimila yetu.
Agree.. Probably next Ben to express himself in English, he might explain better. Though kudos his Kikuyu is good but wasn't able to explain the reality well. Again son be realistic $9k won't take mum and dad far. Better planning indeed. Stay blessed. 🙏
Great son, well raised with morals .God bless 🙌 and heal family. He sounds a pastor. Extreme cases son can't assist mother. Universal language could assist.
Information and resources in the US are way better than back home..from SSI, Medicaid can offer 24\7 caregiving through department of aging and disability, and Hospice. Crowd funding can assist with mortgage payment to secure their shelter.
Do not forget tha their are people suffering from the same conditions in Kenya and end up living in longer duration than those in the US. Approach the issue with soberness. Negative criticism of Kenya won't help the family in any way.
Wah, Mola, sasa wafanyeje? Nikujikaza tu. Ndio tuelewe story. At least hii 1st. episode or airing, ndio crucial, na ame pull through. Hiyo ingine, hata akishindwa na emotion -s, nisawa tu.
There should be a good plan when coming back home..... it's not easy here especially with their medical situation....I would rather they stay in America.

My question. Before we send them home i would like to know whether they have utilized all the help they can get from the American government. For example do they have a social worker looking for help like medicaid for them or other options. Since the mother used to work and paying workmans compensation have they exhausted that? A social worker maybe able to help. Just a suggestion.

Jesus our healer stretch your healing hand upon them in Jesus mighty name 🙏
Jeremy may the Lord God bless you 🙏
God bless your family. Let's come together for this family
God bless Jeremy you are doing a wonderful job ,may God remember that family.
I love that young man for understanding.may God open every door that he knocks..in JN
Mary anamjua kutoka kenya kabla hajashinda green card alikua hardworking sana na anajua kujituma namueka kwa maombi kila siku.
Wametoka wapi Kenya naona kama namunjua
Taking them back home while they are still a live is the best option that’s why I always tell people being diaspora doesn’t mean you forsake developing your own country what people do back home can help them in the time of need when no one can help u people will always cherish you when they can get something out of you but once it’s done you will never see them even close family members you have helped that time you become a. nuisance to them. Big Lesson to learn but may the Lord intervene in this situation
True.
Someone well versed in a universal language can give a summary of the whole story.
All of us are gifted differently. You may assist others to financially contribute towards this desperate situation by helping them understand what the family is going through.
Hi. The family is going thru a very difficult time. The mother has stroke, the father is in ICU at the moment. Pray and support the family.
Sovereign God just come through for this family.
Take their battles, in Jesus mighty name.
Jeremy am happy to what you normally do and value people from our country. But kindly use universal language reach the world not only vernacular.
God bless my people
Kwanini saa yote kikuyus channels being forced or told to use other languages...kwani other tribes don't have people like Damaris!!!!
This boy was a vey bubbly boy
Im glad hes groen to be a responsible man.
May God have a way
Thank you for reporting in Kikuyu, everyone can understand you all over the world!
Isn't there facilities as we know like long term care homes at least for mom and to ease this young man's burdens? Maybe I'm wrong but thank goodness to the Canadian system of free healthcare
They're very expensive
Huna habari how expensive these facilities are wewe. Don't even mention it please
I love this guy called ben ,may God bless this youbg soul ,oh Lord i pray for the healing of this family, may they come home atreast kijana atulie kidogo home is the best
Wooooiii maa. How I wish these parents can stay until they are completely healed. Going Ocha with this condition might bring more troubles. May God give you wisdom Jeremy and help this family.
True
Kenya currently is hard life. Wish they can ba helped there
Am in Kenya. Life gukuu ni mwakii
This guy has done a lot and he needs to be talked to because he has gone a lot and be advised for so many things and Thanks Jeremy thanks for giving this family to be in this channel 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Ben needs alot of encouragement and back up
The village alters an foundations are no joke..... This a tough battle n needs a tough warfare.... Jeremy, there is an enemy after their devine destiny..... May God see them through n give them an escape.... Congrats to the young man
If they are permanent residents.
Oh !! What a son and what a tragedy 😢😢 Sicknesses are some of the weapon that the enemy uses to destroy 😏😏😏
Jeremy, have they applied for social security disability benefits? If they were not getting paid under the table, they should be able to get benefits.
Someone tag the office of the PS of Diaspora in Kenya to assist this family
They're are of no help. Kenyans help their fellow Kenyans
The mum can easily recover the stroke isn’t that bad if she gets the right help fully
Prayers move Mountains our God is able trust and believe
These are people from my home
Mary taught us star Cadette, and the husband was a pastor, and they won green card, just after they lost their son.😢😢😢😢😢
I feel so bad
I thought about them recently
They were very humble people
Sister, this story is sad. May God see them through
I would suggest they apply for county assistance. They will send a social worker to evaluate or enroll in an assistance program or connect with a nonprofit. Like rent or medical. In my state we have the program. There is also state workforce program for training and support. Blessings
This is very touching. God have mercy 🙏
All I can say is that they raised an amazing son. Praying for Godspeed healing.
Please Jeremy, air their story multiple times so you can reach more people.
That's exactly what I wanted to comment hapo mbeleni. But, nikaona nisikize kwanza.
Inafaa msaada uwe kila mara. Please, again and again and again.
Wakenya please, siku zote tunaangalia majuu, as if huko hakuna shida.
Shida ziko huko pia. Please fanyeni, huu ni wakati wenu wa kuregesha mkono.
Tena ni kuregesha mkono kwa kazi noble sana. Ya kusaidia hii family.
Imagine it's so traumatizing, hata sister ya kijana yuko hapo; lakini ameshindwa kujitokeza.
Sis and daughter yetu, nakuombea upate nguvu, siku moja ujitokeze as well. // Lakini, la muhimu, usijikimbize.
Ngoja tu mpaka uwe immotionally ready. Hata kama ni in the next ten years or more, tunawapenda, na tutangoja.
And then, pia unaeza kujitokeza km umejifunikia leso (or scarf), kikwetu.
Hatuko wageni na kujisitiri, kwa kimila yetu.
Agree..
Probably next Ben to express himself in English, he might explain better. Though kudos his Kikuyu is good but wasn't able to explain the reality well. Again son be realistic $9k won't take mum and dad far.
Better planning indeed.
Stay blessed.
🙏
@@kash3342true. He also seemed very nervous
I am not Kenya. I can see this young needs support in multiple ways. Being a carer is not easy. I live in England. How ever I do watch Kenyan utubers.
@@yvettekinchking8838 you understand Kikuyu? Amazing 👏
Lord Jesus, you’re the healer. Remember this family my dear Father.
Great son, well raised with morals .God bless 🙌 and heal family. He sounds a pastor. Extreme cases son can't assist mother. Universal language could assist.
May God protect that young man with His precious Blood. No evil will come near him
Information and resources in the US are way better than back home..from SSI, Medicaid can offer 24\7 caregiving through department of aging and disability, and Hospice. Crowd funding can assist with mortgage payment to secure their shelter.
Having a home is considered an asset and may limit government assistance but they can still get something.
@@catherinew3115 maybe they can transfer to the son
Maybe another country but not America
Jeremy witu, Kenya mundu arimurwaruri, there is better
Do not forget tha their are people suffering from the same conditions in Kenya and end up living in longer duration than those in the US. Approach the issue with soberness. Negative criticism of Kenya won't help the family in any way.
May our good Lord see through this Family and also Jeremy for his good heart,I have been a follower to him,he is a an Angel to many.
Happy family despite all what they are going through . They can still afford a smile
Wah, Mola, sasa wafanyeje? Nikujikaza tu. Ndio tuelewe story.
At least hii 1st. episode or airing, ndio crucial, na ame pull through.
Hiyo ingine, hata akishindwa na emotion
-s, nisawa tu.
There should be a good plan when coming back home..... it's not easy here especially with their medical situation....I would rather they stay in America.
What about the son? He's already struggling na Lifestyle ya America ni ngumu kuliko Kenya
better wakiwa kenya for the mental of their son woi he is struggling alot life huko ni hard
Their son needs a break.
Very true!
@@wanderinderituh459The son can really thrive in America. The city where I live, he can get a good job and do Uber part time, Uber here can earn you $5000.00 a month part time
We pray for divine intervention, Lord of mercy intervene in the lives of this family , for the glory of Your name in Jesus Christ of Nazareth mighty name, Aaaamen Aaamen Amen.🙌🙌🔥🙏
The son is a morning star for his parents. May God bless this family
Oooh GOD HAVE MERCY AND HEAL THEM ALL PSALMS 103🙏🏾
God bless this son with long life
My question. Before we send them home i would like to know whether they have utilized all the help they can get from the American government. For example do they have a social worker looking for help like medicaid for them or other options. Since the mother used to work and paying workmans compensation have they exhausted that? A social worker maybe able to help. Just a suggestion.
Jeremy if this family come to Kenya they will pass through a hard time ... get a caregiver from Kenya ....He will assist the family
