- A short film with boxer Emmet Brennan, as he moves from amateur to pro. Starting with the heartbreak of his Olympics, Emmet speaks about how he was always made for the professional game, as he keeps training towards his first fight in Belfast on July 1st. “I’ve been filming with him since January, and I’ve just been so impressed by his dedication to his goal” says director Dave Tynan. The piece is towards a longer form film as Brennan’s fights do happen; for now it’s a reminder of his mental strength and commitment, as he trains around town, particularly in Dublin Docklands Boxing Club with coaches Jimmy Halpin and Phillip Keogh, and spars with Robert Burke.
