One thing I find intersting is that the nature shown in many of these videos seem to indicate a typically North American landscape. Canyons, giant falls, large forests surrounded by mountains and so on. It does give a feeling that this is a trend originated in the US, where the things the videos criticise are treated like it's the only thing that matters. I love it, because it gives a sense of "I am literally a couple hours away from THIS and I have to care about THAT?"
