3-Needle Bind Off

🌿 The 3-Needle Bind Off is both a bind off and
a seam. It joins together live stitches from
two pieces. I like using a crochet hook makes for
a quicker and more uniform finish.
🤲🏽 Try it!
Step 1: Position the two pieces so the right sides (or wrong sides - this will always be specified in my patterns) are facing each other, and the needles are parallel.
Step 2: Insert a crochet hook into the first stitch on the front needle, then the first stitch on the back needle at the same time.
Step 3: Wrap the yarn around the crochet hook knitwise and draw a loop through both stitches, dropping the stitches off each needle. There will be 1 stitch on the hook.
Step 4: Repeat Step 2, then wrap the yarn around the hook knitwise and draw a loop through both stitches. There will be 2 stitches on the hook.
Step 5: Pull the first stitch through the second stitch on the hook to bind off 1 stitch.
Repeat Steps 4 and 5 until all the stitches are bound off. Cut 8" [20 cm] of tail and pull the last loop through to fasten off.

Step 3: Pull the first stitch through the second
stitch on the hook to bind off 1 stitch.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until all the stitches
are bound off. Cut 8" [20 cm] of tail and
pull the last loop through to fasten off.
